After applying it to my face for just 3 days, I had to stop using it because my entire face broke out in a rash. When I tried it again on my elbow, red spots appeared as shown in the photo. It seems I had an allergic reaction to this product. If you have super sensitive skin, it's always a good idea to patch test new products before applying them to your face. The formulation is neat. It absorbs without any stickiness. However, it doesn't have much moisture, so I recommend supplementing it separately. It's a functional cosmetic with a combination of vitamin and retinol, so if you apply it consistently, it will help with whitening, and the cost-effectiveness is also good. Please test it on your skin first, as it may be a bit irritating. Here, after mixing with other retinol products and applying, when you wake up the next day, you'll feel like your face has become a bit brighter. First off, I take 2000mg of vitamin C twice a day at lunch and dinner. In the morning, I use a vitamin C serum and moisturizer, and at night I apply retinol (every other day). I'm really keen on avoiding sun damage, so I always apply sunscreen before heading to work and reapply before going out for lunch! My skin tends to be dehydrated and quite sensitive - if I use something too harsh or don't get enough sleep, I immediately break out in folliculitis. This product met my very strict standards and I'm really impressed. It's great value for money at just 5000 won, and it actually works! My overall complexion has brightened, and I've seen a significant improvement in my dark circles! It absorbs really well, which I love because I hate feeling like my skin is suffocating. The texture isn't too light either - it doesn't just disappear immediately. Will I repurchase? Absolutely! Daiso has been working hard lately, they're really stepping up their game. I'm so happy to find such an effective product at this price point! The only downside is that you're not supposed to use it in the morning... But I did anyway and then applied sunscreen! How could I resist? Using this with a galvanic device is amazing... Especially for dark circles? The results are immediate. (Not for dark circles caused by fat loss though.)

It doesn't irritate my skin and isn't sticky at all. There's no pilling, and it absorbs smoothly. The hydration is decent, and it absorbs well into the skin. I've actually repurchased it and continue to use it regularly. I think the vitamin content could be a bit higher. The brightening effect isn't immediate, but I've noticed my complexion gradually becoming brighter with consistent use. It works well when used together with the freeze-dried ampoule from the same line.

The texture is right in between light and rich. It has a refreshing scent, and although vitamin C can sometimes be irritating, this sinks in without any burning or irritation. This might just be a personal experience, but I'm not sure if it's very effective. My dad and I have been sharing it, and neither of us noticed much difference after using it. My dad uses it daily and since he's older, he should feel the effects of retinol and vitamin C more... but it seems hit or miss. **Update on this cream: Surprisingly, it's more effective than I thought! When I asked my dad again, he said his skin texture became smoother. The texture is absolutely perfect! I was worried it might be irritating due to the vitamin content, but it's not sticky at all and causes no irritation even for allergy-prone skin. I wonder if that means the concentration is low... The hydration is satisfactory too. I've used about half the bottle, but haven't noticed any visible effects yet. No real downsides. It would be great if they offered a larger size. Maybe they could increase the vitamin content just a tad? It also works really well as a hand cream!
