Texture This is a standard sheet mask with plenty of essence! The sheet thickness is just right, allowing it to adhere well to the face. The essence doesn't drip excessively down the chin, making it comfortable to wear while sitting. Feel on skin As it's a brightening product, there's an inevitable bit of dryness. The first time I used it, I was lazy and only applied a thin layer of cream afterwards, which made the dryness feel intense. However, from the second use onwards, I made sure to finish with a thorough skincare routine, and the dryness wasn't as noticeable. When I used it together with a brightening serum, the whitening effect was definitely good, but I felt a slight tingling sensation. Still, I liked how radiant my skin looked after removing the mask! Scent It seems most Daiso products have quite strong fragrances. It's wonderfully hydrating! My complexion looks brighter, and there's no irritation. The sheet mask feels incredibly soft on the skin. I think I prefer products with just retinol. Compared to pure retinol formulas, this one leaves a slightly sticky finish. The next day, I noticed some blemishes on my skin. It's a bit disappointing. There's too much fragrance for my liking, so I won't be using it again. This review highlights both positive and negative aspects of the product. The user appreciates the hydration, brightening effect, and gentle nature of the mask. However, they express concerns about the texture compared to retinol-only products, potential skin reactions, and the high fragrance content. For those with super sensitive skin or those who prefer fragrance-free options, this might not be the best choice.
