The product is quite famous, but strangely, it makes my hair feel greasier. It's dry. The ingredients are not that great. The cost-effectiveness also falls short. - tn*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedMar 25, 2025
First, about my scalp: I think it's combination type. After 1.5 days, you can visibly see the oiliness! Let me start my review: Scent: This product's fragrance is the first thing that comes to mind. The ginger smell is incredibly strong! I'm not a fan of ginger, so it was a bit of a shock. I thought the cool, fresh scent of ginger and its raw smell might be quite polarizing. However, after showering and washing my hair, when I smell my scalp, it transforms into a cool and cozy scent. It even masked the strong scalp odor of a family member! Cleansing effectiveness: Oh, it's great! It's really good! During vacation, I thought, 'If not now, when else will I stay at home?' and went a while without washing my hair... I used the shampoo 1.5 times (once for pre-wash and then half that amount for the main wash), and it cleaned thoroughly (it should have taken 2-3 washes normally for that level of dirtiness, I'm sorry...). Most importantly, despite how squeaky clean it got, my hair didn't feel overly dry! 1. Scent: It might be hit or miss for some. I get a bit annoyed because of the scent, then satisfied with its cleansing power and effectiveness, and then annoyed again while using it. 2. Price: Buy it during The Body Shop's sale season... I was able to use it because my mom loves it so much. Also, compared to its ingredients on Hwahae, it's too expensive.
