I have oily skin, and the texture initially felt moisturizing, but the finish was a bit sticky yet matte.
ConsRight after application, it tends to settle into eyebrows and around the nose. Over time, it clumps up, causing my sunscreen and cushion foundation to pill when applied on top. It's not a product I reach for often. I wouldn't recommend it for those sensitive to fragrances as it has a strong artificial scent. However, if your main concern is brightening your complexion, it might still be worth considering.
TipNot recommended for those with fragrance sensitivities.

The product adheres excellently to the skin, though it may vary depending on the puff you use. Even when I check after work in the evening, it still has a light and matte finish - it's a perfect holy grail item! I have combination skin, but it doesn't make my pores feel clogged at all, so I'll definitely repurchase it!
ConsDue to the white cast, controlling the amount is essential. The white cast is quite noticeable, so even though it's a product with UV protection, it's difficult to rely on it alone for sun protection. In summer, you might need to apply a separate sunscreen and layer this on top.
TipIt has a matte finish, so I spray mist whenever my skin feels dry. Also, since controlling the amount is crucial, I squeeze out a little bit on my forehead, nose, cheeks, and chin, then pat it in with a dense puff for better adherence.

Cons- Since it sets to a slightly matte finish, you need to blend it quickly. - Being a sunscreen, it naturally doesn't have coverage, so you'll need to use concealer on blemishes if you want to go foundation-free.

I'm a big fan of brightening moisturizers with SPF, and as the weather's getting warmer, I find cushion foundations a bit heavy. So I was thrilled to be chosen as one of The Hwahae Testers! Here's my review after 5 days of use: - Almost fragrance-free: It doesn't bother me at all. - Application: It feels hydrating and smooth at first, but quickly becomes matte. As it absorbs, there's a slight tightening sensation on the skin. - Brightening effect: Initially, it seemed to brighten by one shade, but after it settles, it's more like half a shade. It looks more natural over time. - After 5 hours: There's some oil breakthrough in the T-zone and cheeks, but the product itself doesn't feel greasy or heavy. It does fade a bit. - Reapplication: It doesn't cake or pill much when reapplied. It brightens about one shade and gradually blends into the skin naturally. Just be sure to control the amount! Overall, it's a pretty good product!
ConsThe coverage is minimal, so keep that in mind. If you have dry skin, you might find it a bit drying. My cheeks are on the dry side, and it does feel a bit tight there. Applying a moisturizer before this brightening moisturizer with SPF helps a bit.
TipFor those with enlarged vertical pores like mine, try applying the product in the opposite direction of the pores for better pore minimizing effects. Try applying it upwards!

After application, it has a semi-matte finish without feeling dry. ✓ Purple tone-up for a brighter complexion, but amount control is crucial As a purple tone-up sunscreen, it effectively neutralizes yellow undertones and dullness, resulting in a more radiant complexion. However, it's essential to control the amount used. A pea-sized amount is recommended, as using too much can make the tone-up look artificial. ✓ Spreads thinly without being thick Rather than creating a thick layer, this product spreads easily and thinly. With proper amount control, it's not difficult to apply evenly. ✓ Fragrance-free The lack of noticeable scent is a positive aspect of this product.
Cons✓ Amount control is crucial While there aren't many significant drawbacks, it's important to note that applying too much can make the tone-up look artificial. It's not recommended to use more than a pea-sized amount.

First off, I loved how moisturizing it felt when it dried down. Even with my dry skin, it didn't leave me feeling parched. The absorption is impressive - it sinks in quickly, so you need to spread it fast. On extremely dry days, it might not glide on as smoothly. The finish is more matte than dewy, but you can feel the hydration underneath. I absolutely adore that it's not sticky at all! My skin has a bit of a copper tone, and this purple-tinted cream gives me a lively, brightened look. It's a natural tone-up effect, not a floating face look, so I'd recommend it even to brightening moisturizer newbies. It's hard to overdo - you'll get a natural-looking glow every time. It's so good that even without makeup, you look like you've done something! Here's a quick summary: Hydration: 3.5/5 Absorption/Adherence: 4/5 Longevity: 3/5 Natural Tone-Up: 4.5/5 Radiance (Vitality): 4/5
ConsThe downside is that it doesn't last for 24 hours... I've never seen a brightening moisturizer or cushion that doesn't darken, so it's just okay. It seems to last about 4 hours, after which the radiance fades a bit. I think it would be perfect to use as a base under cushion foundation.
TipI think it might apply more evenly if you quickly spread it over your skin. Also, I highly recommend this as a tone-up sunscreen to use before cushion foundation. Torriden really lives up to its name!

Skin type: Changed from combination dehydrated to dry Texture: Feels like a hydrating moisturizer Application: Initially feels moisturizing like a hydrating cream when applied Finish: Matte The light purple color naturally brightens the complexion, making it perfect for those days when you're too lazy for a full makeup routine
ConsUnfortunately, the initial moisturizing feeling doesn't last long. It sets to a matte finish while applying, so those with dry skin might need to layer their skincare products thoroughly. However, it could be great for those with oily skin or during summer!
TipIf you apply a solid base of skincare products before this and then follow with sunscreen, it naturally evens out your skin tone.
