As a first-time user of sun serum, I was pleasantly surprised by how non-greasy it felt. Usually, sunscreens leave an oily residue that can be uncomfortable on the skin, but this product has a light texture that absorbs well, leaving a refreshing feeling. I expected a distinct scent since it's a hydrating sun serum, but I was delighted that it doesn't have any unnecessary fragrance. The finish after application was also great - it didn't feel sticky at all, just fresh and comfortable. Being a serum sunscreen, it's moisturizing, which makes it perfect for dry weather and winter use. It even provides a natural brightening effect, which I really like! There wasn't anything I disliked about this product. I'm satisfied with it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMar 26, 2025
This review is based on using the product 3 times. I have combination dehydrated skin and usually only use mineral sunscreens. While applying, I didn't experience any blemishes or skin itching. The absorption and scent were the most satisfying aspects. It doesn't have that typical sunscreen smell, so it's not unpleasant to apply. The balance between oil and moisture feels about 50/50, and it pairs well with my cushion foundation (from J***S***). Also, the cap is attached, not separate, which is convenient. Overall, it's a decent product with no noticeable scent. It would be even better if it was less rich or had more hydration. I like how it gives a slight glow when used with cushion foundation, which suits my style. I might buy it again if it's on sale! Personally, it feels more rich than hydrating, so it might not be ideal for very oily skin types. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinMar 25, 2025
The Torimden Dive-in Moisture Sunscreen truly lived up to its name with its excellent hydration. The application was incredibly smooth, and while not particularly lightweight, it had a fantastic non-sticky feel. A major plus was how it deeply moisturized without any stickiness. The finish was pleasantly matte, and the skin stayed comfortably hydrated until the afternoon, preventing any deep dryness and keeping my skin feeling at ease. The tube packaging is a win for hygiene and portability. Its narrow opening made it easy to control the amount dispensed, reducing product waste. This means it lasts longer and stays clean, making it a joy to use. I haven't encountered any drawbacks yet while using this product. I'll need to continue using it to form a more comprehensive opinion. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMar 25, 2025
The texture is a smooth, non-greasy hydrating cream that's incredibly easy to use. It's gentle enough for all skin types, making it a versatile choice. With its nearly scentless formula, it's perfect for both men and women, avoiding any fragrance preferences. I highly recommend it! There's not much to criticize, but if I had to mention something, it would be the size. As spring and summer approach, we'll likely use more of it, so a larger size would be ideal! For the dry spring season, remember to layer your serum and hydrating cream generously before applying sunscreen to combat dryness. The added glow is just a bonus! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 25, 2025
The sleek packaging lives up to its 'moisture' name, feeling hydrating from the moment you apply it. It's perfect for dry seasons when the wrong sunscreen can wreak havoc on your skin. This feels as comfortable as applying a moisturizer. I have super sensitive skin, and while most sunscreens cause at least a bit of irritation, Torien doesn't give me that sensation at all, making application worry-free. Even if I rush through my skincare routine, this sunscreen's excellent hydration keeps my skin comfortable all day. It's ideal for those with dry skin, but even as someone with combination skin (oily T-zone and extremely dry cheeks), I find it works well across all areas. Initially, I was concerned about potential oiliness, but over time, it absorbs naturally without leaving an greasy feeling, preventing those pesky little blemishes. While a full month's use is needed for a complete assessment, so far I haven't found any drawbacks. I'm using it happily and will definitely repurchase when I run out. There's not much to complain about, but it might feel a bit slippery in the peak of summer. That's just my prediction though, as it's only early spring now! Since it's such a hydrating sunscreen, if you put on a mask right after application, it feels like the mask might absorb it. So I usually wait a bit before wearing a mask. If you're worried about your makeup caking due to the rich texture, especially on areas like your nose or forehead, I recommend gently pressing with a cotton pad before applying makeup. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2025
Zero eye irritation! The texture is like a smooth emulsion! It's slightly thicker than a hydrating moisturizer. While it doesn't have that bouncy, stretchy feel, it's as comforting as applying an emulsion. There's absolutely no white cast, and it absorbs quickly, which is great. Surprisingly, I was worried because emulsion-type sunscreens often cause more eye irritation than mineral ones. However, this product caused no eye irritation at all! I have sensitive skin that sometimes feels hot when I apply sunscreen incorrectly, but I didn't experience any of that with this product. Sunscreens often make my skin feel dry or too oily, leading to deep dryness, but I didn't feel any dryness with this one! They advertise it as a '24-hour moisture barrier' or something similar. While I'm not sure about that claim, it's definitely more hydrating than regular sun emulsions and doesn't cause any deep dryness. In terms of makeup application, I did experience some pilling when I applied too much. But this could be due to incompatibility with my skincare products, so take this with a grain of salt! When I applied the right amount, there was no pilling at all, and it felt pleasantly hydrating! Despite being hydrating, it doesn't make makeup break down. Surprisingly, it seems to work better with hydrating foundations rather than matte ones! It's easy to apply, doesn't feel heavy on the skin, and doesn't leave a suffocating layer. I recommend it as a daily sunscreen for quick outings! If you're not wearing makeup over it, it would be great for reapplication too, as it's not sticky and doesn't leave a white cast. It seems that controlling the amount is crucial. If all three steps - skincare, sunscreen, and makeup - are hydrating, or if the final makeup step is too matte, you might experience pilling if you don't apply the right amount! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2025
My skin type is combination dehydrated with a few blemishes. (The attached photo shows my skin after applying the product.) While many sunscreens these days are lightweight and apply like emulsions, they often have an artificial moisturizing feel. However, this product truly feels like applying an emulsion. The glow isn't excessive, so it doesn't interfere with makeup application. It absorbs quickly without leaving a superficial shine, making it incredibly easy to apply. This was my strongest impression while using the product. For those who liked the application of traditional organic UV filter sunscreens but disliked their oiliness and excessive glow, this product offers a comfortable experience. It feels hydrating yet light, similar to a water-based emulsion. I didn't experience any blemishes! While using the product, I felt more of a comfortable hydration rather than oiliness, so I wasn't particularly worried about breakouts. I highly recommend this for anyone looking for a hydrating sunscreen that applies comfortably. I didn't have any particular issues while using this product! I didn't experience any blemishes, and I was satisfied with its application, absorption, and packaging. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2025
My husband and I have been using this product for a week now. My skin is sensitive yet normal, and I really appreciated that this product is fragrance-free, making it pleasant to use alongside other cosmetics without any clashing scents. The absorbs well was incredibly smooth, and there was no pilling when applying makeup, making it very convenient to use. It's a sunscreen that absorbs naturally into the skin without any greasiness, creating a perfect base for makeup. It adheres lightly to the skin without leaving a white cast, and when used alone, it provides a very subtle evening of the complexion. The color is so natural it's as if you're wearing almost nothing at all. Personally, while I do prefer products with some tone-correcting abilities, I found that I could easily adjust this with other products during my makeup routine, so it wasn't a significant issue. My husband also tried it and was satisfied with how quickly it absorbed without any oiliness, while still keeping his skin from feeling dry. He had been concerned recently about his skin becoming very dry, with moisture evaporating quickly even after applying plenty of toner and emulsion. However, he found that using this sunscreen helped maintain hydration for much longer. Thanks to this, he hasn't been complaining about dry skin lately. Overall, we're very satisfied with this product due to its excellent absorption, adherence to the skin, and hydrating properties! There are no downsides. No blemishes, no scent - it's gentle and absolutely wonderful!! Try using it before applying makeup - it creates a great base for your cosmetics! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2025
I have sensitive, combination dehydrated skin with deep dryness and perioral dermatitis. While the volume is similar to other sunscreens, this one has a slim, compact size. It fits snugly in small pouches, making it very portable. When opened, it's nearly fragrance-free with a smooth application. I'm not sure if it's just me, but I felt a slight cooling effect which I loved. Other brands had an overpowering cooling sensation that irritated my skin, but Torriden's sunscreen wasn't overwhelming at all. It's a hydrating type, focused on moisture, giving a nice glow without being excessive. It's not matte, but it's not overly dewy either. While it doesn't provide tone-up effects, it seems to refine my skin texture, giving a subtle brightness that only I notice. Torriden clearly prioritizes hydration, as I experienced no blemishes after use. I'm 500% likely to repurchase! I wish they would sell travel-sized versions of their ampoules, moisturizers, and sunscreens. Also, for those who love an intense glow, it would be great if they developed a sun ampoule type in addition to this formula! Use in this order: toner, ampoule, moisturizer, then sunscreen. It keeps your makeup looking dewy! Torriden's ampoule and sunscreen work great together! While it's good for year-round use, it's especially nice for worry-free summer application. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMar 24, 2025
I always used to apply moisturizer before sunscreen. However, this product lives up to its name as a 'water barrier sunscreen' - I could apply it without moisturizer and still achieve a hydrated feel! It's not greasy at all, but incredibly hydrating, making application a breeze. I love that it doesn't leave any sticky residue! There's no distinct scent, but when applying, I feel like I detect a subtle, natural cooling fragrance. It's refreshing not to have that unpleasant smell some sunscreens have. As a sunscreen nomad, I fell in love with this product and immediately bought a set after trying it as part of The Hwahae Testers! Personally, I didn't find any downsides. I've been using it for about a week and I'm still loving it! While it's fine without moisturizer, I recommend applying a thin layer of moisturizer before the sunscreen! It might seem obvious, but it doubles the hydration, which really helps your skin feel comfortable in this increasingly hot weather.
