As my skin tends to redden easily with even slight irritation, I first tested it on the delicate skin inside my arm before using it on my face. It felt similar to the microneedle patches sold at Daiso, so there wasn't much irritation! My cheeks are particularly sensitive, so on the first day they seemed to redden slightly, but it was fine the second time I used it. At first, I wasn't sure how much pressure to apply, but when you press, it leaves slight marks on your face, especially noticeable on the nose area. I'd suggest starting with the nose to get a feel for the right amount of pressure! It says you can use each one about 50 times, but I pressed it about 100 times, covering my face and neck, and the needles still didn't dissolve. I love that there's more ampoule than expected. I could apply it generously to my face even after covering my neck and the back of my hands. You can also use it like a gua sha tool while applying the ampoule. I'm not sure how much it helps, but it's fun! The night before, I applied toner (fully absorbed), used the stamp, then applied a barrier cream. When I woke up, my skin felt improved somehow, like my blemishes and scars had diminished a bit. My skin felt softer, and makeup went on more smoothly.
ConsThe ampoule doesn't spread well if you squeeze out just a little. It's quite sticky, so you need to squeeze out a bit more for it to apply smoothly. The ampoule is highly concentrated, so it mentions that there might be some residue left. I noticed that even after patting it in, there was still some residue on my hands. While it was okay on areas where I applied it thinly like my forehead and neck, it was very sticky on my cheeks where I applied it thicker. It might not suit those who dislike stickiness. At 8500 won per piece... it seems a bit pricey. I won't be able to use it frequently. Although it's advertised for pore care, I didn't notice any changes in my pores after two uses. However, it might be worth using the night before an important day. For those who dislike fuss, aren't too interested in skincare, or are like my mom... even if you tell them it's good, they might find it bothersome and not use it. I gave it to her to try, but she didn't use it... It's really good though...

You first press the microneedle side onto your skin, then combine it with the ampoule for a massage-like feel. There's plenty of ampoule! It absorbs well, so the rest of your skincare routine seems to sink in nicely too. I think my pores have even gotten smaller!
ConsWhen massaging after combining with the ampoule, it can be a bit hard on your hands due to the firmness. Also, if you use it while looking in the mirror, the ampoule doesn't come out well and your hand might hurt. It's better to lie down slightly or look at the ceiling (so the product is vertical) - then it comes out more easily! You can use it more generously than you might think. If there's a residual feeling from the ampoule, it can be a bit sticky, but it's fine if you quickly apply your next skincare step.
TipSince this product slightly stimulates the skin, after applying the ampoule generously, if you follow up with a modeling mask, oh my... It really helps with ampoule absorption and calming the skin! If you have a modeling mask, definitely try using it after this product.
