As someone with very dry skin, I appreciate that it doesn't look cakey if I prep my skin well and apply a good base. I have sensitive skin, and after using this, I experienced a severe allergic reaction... For those with super sensitive skin, it's always wise to patch test new products before applying them to your entire face. The reaction described could be due to specific ingredients that don't agree with the user's skin type. Remember, what works for one person may not work for another, especially when it comes to skincare and cosmetics. - wl*******************RecommendedJun 11, 2025
This product is incredibly moisturizing and has excellent staying power! While there weren't any major disappointments, the coverage is just a tad lacking... - bs**********Dehydrated SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedJun 5, 2025
The perfect shade for those with skin tone 21. I use shades 19-21 and prefer a natural brightening effect, so this works great for me. It offers excellent coverage and a beautiful glow. It gives that perfect look when you apply it semi-matte and let it develop into a lovely radiance over time. Since it has a cream texture, rather than patting it on from the start, it's best to smooth it out and then pat it in thoroughly. This way, even when it settles, it looks beautiful. I'm satisfied because with this type of formula, you expect some transfer, but the coverage and finish make it worth it. If you don't control the amount and don't ensure it adheres well, it can settle unattractively. It's better when you apply a good skincare base, smooth it out, and then pat it in. It seems like a cushion that's somewhat dependent on your skin condition. Not recommended for touch-ups... It doesn't adhere nicely and can look patchy. Not suitable for touch-ups. - st*********Combination SkinAcne SkinEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsMay 28, 2025
The color is beautifully pigmented, brightening your complexion for a radiant look. It transfers heavily and even when covering blemishes, it wears off quickly. The makeup comes off far too easily... I'm not sure about its staying power. - oh********Dry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedMay 23, 2025
As someone with super sensitive skin, I'm relieved it didn't cause any blemishes. I also loved that it comes in various shades. The way it fades isn't the prettiest, unfortunately. But aside from that, I was quite satisfied with it. The Hwahae Testers would appreciate this honest review, especially the feedback on how it works for sensitive skin types. It's great to hear about products that don't cause irritation for those with delicate complexions. The variety of shades is definitely a plus for many consumers looking for the right match. However, the less-than-ideal fading could be a concern for those seeking long-lasting wear. Overall, it seems like a decent option for those with sensitive skin who prioritize gentle formulas over perfect longevity. - wl*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 4, 2025
As someone with blemish-prone skin, I can't use products containing ingredients like acids or shea butter that clog pores. This is one of the few products without those ingredients. While the initial feel and adherence of the original Mesh Glow is nice, this product is far superior in terms of not settling into pores and longevity. I alternate between the two, but I definitely prefer this one and have been mainly using it as my base lately. It's true that compared to other cushions, this one falls short in terms of adherence and staying power. For important occasions, I reluctantly use other cushions despite the risk of blemishes, because the difference in adherence is quite noticeable. - ka*********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 2, 2025
The coverage and staying power are both fantastic! It's a product that beautifully fades while maintaining moisture and excellent coverage. My skin tends to break out whenever I use Clio cushions. Despite the product's effectiveness, which makes me want to use it, it keeps causing blemishes. Also, it's crucial to control the amount used! Otherwise, it doesn't absorb well. Controlling the amount is essential! - ki***********Normal SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 25, 2025
I found the color to be a perfect match for shade 21. It might look a bit unnatural on lighter skin tones though. The adherence was excellent, resulting in great longevity. As a student who needs makeup to last from morning to evening, I always use powder with all cushions. What I loved about this one is that even with powder, it didn't cake up or break down unattractively. While it's marketed as a glow cushion, it doesn't have that super dewy feel of most glow cushions. Those with combination to dry skin might find it a bit drying. Try applying it over a hydrating sunscreen for best results! - yo*******Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 7, 2025
As someone who uses shade 21 cosmetics, I find the color blends well with my complexion. It's a cushion that feels hydrating. The mesh inside gives the impression of generous product quantity! Due to its moisturizing nature, it tends to transfer easily and doesn't seem to adhere well to the skin. Admittedly, the longevity is somewhat disappointing. After some time, the skin becomes patchy and the makeup breaks down unattractively. It also tends to settle into pores. - wi******Dehydrated SkinSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedApr 5, 2025
It's a bit darker than I expected, but it has great adherence and gives a beautiful glow. Those with very oily skin might experience some separation.
