I have sensitive combination dehydrated skin that tends to be dry. I used Koh Samui's body and face sunscreen for water activities. Unfortunately, when I wore white clothes during water activities, the UV rays penetrated and my skin got quite tanned. I bought this because Je**x claimed to have UV protection, but it didn't work as expected. On the bright side, I didn't experience any blemishes, redness, or tingling sensation. The sunscreen absorbs well, gliding on smoothly without feeling sticky, which my husband also appreciated. We both applied it generously on our bodies and faces. It even held up well against beard friction. We were surprised to use it all up in just 4 days! This just goes to show how well it absorbs and how pleasant the non-sticky texture is. *My skin type is yellow-toned and tends to tan rather than redden when exposed to sun. ***I used this product overseas, not in Korea*** - Despite claims of being waterproof, the back of my hands, which were exposed to sunlight, got very dark even after applying the sunscreen. - My face fared better, probably because I reapplied more frequently and it had less contact with water. However, I wouldn't recommend using this in foreign waters. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 17, 2025
This sunscreen stick is so convenient to apply and leaves your skin feeling fresh and non-sticky. Even when reapplying, there's no pilling or clumping! The slim design makes it perfect for carrying around. So far, I've been using it without any particular complaints. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 11, 2025
First off, I absolutely loved the advantages of this sunstick! Its portability and non-sticky, powdery finish make it perfect for summer use. I especially appreciate that it's waterproof, so I don't have to worry about it washing off when I sweat. There is a scent, but it's not overpowering, which was fine even for someone like me who's quite sensitive to fragrances. I mainly used it on my body rather than my face, and found it less of a hassle to reapply compared to other products. The downside isn't really specific to this product, but rather a limitation of sunsticks in general. They tend to provide less UV protection compared to cream formulations. Because of this, I'd be hesitant to use it on days with intense sun exposure or in places with strong UV rays. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2025
Sunscreen stick for dry skin It's not sticky, but has a rich feel that's perfect for those with dry skin! The scent is refreshingly pleasant It doesn't apply with good adherence, so you need to use some pressure when applying it. Also, after application, it leaves quite an oily finish, which might be challenging to use in summer
