I'm really satisfied with how lightly it applies, almost unnoticeably. It's perfect for easy student makeup! The pentagonal puff also made it convenient to cover specific areas. As it applies so lightly, the coverage is just about that level. I'd only recommend this for students who want truly natural-looking makeup. - tn********Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 19, 2025
I personally loved the puff! It really brought out the best in the cushion foundation. The staying power was quite impressive too. My face felt so heavy... People kept asking why my complexion looked so dull when I wore this cushion. As soon as I went out, it caked up around my nose and cheeks. It really didn't work for me at all... But strangely, all my friends say they like it. - q1******Dry SkinDark CirclesInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 12, 2025
This cushion foundation feels like the gold standard for those who want less tanning and suits various skin types. I've never been dissatisfied while using it and I've been recommending it to everyone around me. There's a slight issue with emphasizing dead skin cells, which is characteristic of Clio base products. - 95****Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinApr 10, 2025
I absolutely adore the case design from the Harry Potter collaboration. When I take it out while going through a tunnel, the cushion glows on its own (though it's not extremely bright!). I saw some reviews saying it's a love-it-or-hate-it product, but I thought, 'It'll probably work for me,' and impulsively bought it with rose-tinted glasses. After exfoliating with a wash-off mask, I carefully applied it to my skin. Right after application, the color and coverage weren't bad! BUT... after having a coffee and checking the mirror, it was a grand festival of emphasized dead skin cells! My pores looked like Jeju volcanic cones, all highlighted. Everything was flaking off, so I had to wipe it all off and reapply. Since that day, it's become a buried item I don't even look at anymore. - se************Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 1, 2025
Usage period: 2-3 months I originally used a different cushion, but when the Hogwarts edition came out, I decided to try Clio's cushion for the first time. Coverage: I bought it because everyone said it was good, and I wanted to try it. At first, I thought, 'Huh? The coverage doesn't seem that great?' But after using it for a few days, my mindset changed to 'Wait, the coverage is actually pretty decent!' Initially, I didn't feel like it was covering much, but when I checked before and after applying makeup, it covered basic blemishes, pores, and redness quite well! Longevity: I don't usually apply powder, so my makeup tends to break down easily. However, even when I applied just the cushion in the morning without any skincare, I didn't notice much creasing. Despite being so hydrating that I thought it might not last, the longevity was surprisingly good. I usually apply it around 8 AM and touch up once around 11 AM. Adherence: It was great! At first, it didn't seem to adhere well, but because of its good adherence, I didn't worry about my makeup breaking down at school. Usually, my T-zone gets oily at school, causing my makeup to break down around my nose, but I didn't experience that with this cushion. Texture: The cushion I usually use has a balm texture, so I was a bit worried about trying this one. However, it wasn't as runny as I expected. It was thinner than what I usually use, making it easier to apply, which I liked! Recommended skin tone: I think it would work well for anyone who uses shade 21. It's a color that suits both cool and warm tones - perfect! Recommended skin type: I think it would be great for dry skin types, as long as you're not extremely dry! The cushion itself leaves a slightly dewy finish, so with just some basic skincare, you're good to go. For oily skin types, it might break down a bit easier, but if you finish with powder occasionally, you should be able to use it beautifully! ⚠️ Skin tone: I bought shade 21, but it felt slightly lighter than expected! So far... I'm using it satisfactorily - we**********Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRednessRecommendedMar 24, 2025
It matches my complexion perfectly, so I use it daily when I go out. I love how long-lasting it is! Unless you apply it thickly, it doesn't completely cover dark spots or blemishes... - cl*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMar 7, 2025
This was my first time trying a cushion foundation in a slightly higher price range! The biggest advantage is that it lasts long and doesn't fade. I was also impressed by how well the color matched my complexion and the quality of the puff. I absolutely loved the subtle glow it gave my skin! As someone with oily skin, I found this cushion a bit heavy. Surprisingly though, it didn't cause any pilling or separation. If I had to point out a drawback, I'd say the coverage feels slightly on the lighter side. The puff turned out to be better than I expected. Make sure you don't lose it and use it carefully!
