At first, there's a slight tingling sensation, but after the first day, I've been using it consistently without any irritation or stinging feeling. Despite its high vitamin content, I don't experience any burning sensation. I also appreciate that it's not very sticky. It would be great if the price was a bit lower, but considering the product quality, I think it's still reasonable. I use it together with my beauty device and apply it immediately after cleansing. - ks*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJun 10, 2025
If you want to see real results from a Vitamin C serum, buy this product. After using it for several months, my acne scars have noticeably faded. I highly recommend it. It has the characteristic Vitamin C scent and feels a bit sticky. Also, it can occasionally cause irritation, and the price is quite steep. - wk**********Oily SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessRecommendedJun 6, 2025
I love how lightweight it feels! The price is quite reasonable and it's easily accessible. I can't really notice any whitening effect. It just feels like I'm applying a regular product. The product seems to have a pleasant, lightweight texture that doesn't feel heavy on the skin. Its affordability and accessibility are definite plus points. However, if you're looking for a noticeable brightening or whitening effect, this might not deliver the results you're hoping for. The application seems unremarkable, suggesting it might be better suited for those seeking a basic, no-frills product rather than something with dramatic effects. - i_***Dehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJun 1, 2025
None whatsoever Absolutely nothing, I really wish there was something positive to say... It seems too highly concentrated - those with super sensitive skin should definitely avoid using this Causes a burning sensation and tingling This product appears to be quite harsh, especially for those with sensitive skin. The intense concentration likely leads to irritation, resulting in an uncomfortable burning and tingling feeling. It's disappointing that there are no positive aspects to highlight, as I genuinely wanted to find something good about it. Unfortunately, this seems unsuitable for delicate skin types and may cause more harm than benefit. - sh*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinMay 28, 2025
The only positive thing I can say is that the container seems quite durable. Other than that, there's not much to praise. This is the most disappointing product I've used from IOPE. For more details, please refer to the drawbacks I've mentioned. Recently, I haven't been experiencing many skin blemishes, but after using this product, I developed breakouts even in areas where I don't typically have pores. This suggests it's quite harsh on the skin... On the day I used it, I woke up with 4-5 new blemishes. It's a shame because I've had great experiences with other IOPE products. The reviewer expresses significant disappointment with this IOPE product, highlighting its tendency to cause unexpected skin reactions and blemishes. They contrast this negative experience with their generally positive impressions of other products from the same brand, emphasizing the unexpected nature of these skin issues. - 08******Dry SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedMay 24, 2025
- ks********Oily SkinAcne SkinMay 18, 2025
The formulation is runny. And it is not heavy or oily, so it has good spreadability. It really stings. As soon as it touched, it was stinging, and then it even started to itch a little while later. Be sure to do a small-scale test first before applying it. - cl*********Dehydrated SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedMay 5, 2025
The product's lightweight and silky texture absorbs quickly into the skin. There's minimal stickiness after application, making it perfect for use any time, morning or night. After using it, I noticed my complexion became noticeably brighter. It's also gentle enough for those with super sensitive skin to use with confidence. I experienced no blemishes at all while using this product. While everything else is great, the price point is just too high... You could buy several bottles of other serums for the same cost. - wd****Oily SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsRecommendedApr 16, 2025
After using it for about a week, I feel like my complexion has brightened. I'll likely continue using it. It does feel a bit tingling, but despite that, I think it's still worth using. - di****Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedApr 10, 2025
I've been using this for about 10 days now... Usually, I write reviews after a month of use, but I feel like I've got a good grasp on this product already, so here's my review! I have super sensitive skin that's prone to barrier damage, atopic tendencies, and is generally as tough as a jellyfish. But I've been a loyal vitamin C user for over 10 years, and it really works well for me. Please read this review carefully! First off, IOPE has previously released 25% pure vitamin C products twice before, but they flopped. I tried both and got blemishes from them. So why did I buy this one? Well, unlike the previous versions, this one doesn't contain ingredients that typically cause me issues. It feels like an evolution! Ever since IOPE created their Retinol Super Bounce, something about the brand changed. I started to trust them more. Before that, IOPE was a brand that often caused me blemishes, but after the Super Bounce Serum, their sun serum worked well for me, and now this brightening moisturizer too. No blemishes, just a feeling that something's different. So I bought both the 25% serum and the 40% mask concentrate this time. Here's my detailed review: 1. The texture is very thin and runny. 2. It has a slight yellow tint. I've tried many vitamin C products, both cheap and expensive, and some poorly made ones leave a yellow stain on your face all day (avoid these, they're ineffective and make you look jaundiced!). This one leaves a slight yellow tint when first applied, but it disappears completely after cleansing. That's the power of a good brand! 3. There's a slight tingling sensation when applied. But as a vitamin C enthusiast, I find this level of sensation more like 'Ooh, nice!' rather than 'Ouch, can't use this!' 4. Regardless of texture or sensation, the most important thing is whether it causes blemishes. I used the 4 sample doses before the full-size product, and had no issues. 5. I carefully checked the ingredients before buying, and there was nothing that would typically cause me problems. However, since this product contains 25% pure vitamin C, I'd recommend it to those who have experience with 15% or higher concentrations. 6. The effects are quite good. Compared to my favorites like Dr. Different CQ (15% vitamin C, 30-40,000 won for 15ml) and SkinCeuticals CE Ferulic (both 15% vitamin C products), this one is 25ml of 25% vitamin C for 40-50,000 won, so it's good value for money. 7. The only downside is some dryness and irritation, so you need to pair it well with your existing creams or serums. 8. I use this, then Eucerin Epidermal Repair Serum, then the 40% Vitamin C Mask Concentrate, and finally Koi Wrapping. When I wake up in the morning, my face is glowing and so bright! IOPE, you're the best! It reminds me of when I first tried SkinCeuticals. My next goal is to try IOPE's Retinol Super Bounce once I've adapted to this. Give it a try! This is the journey of someone with sensitive, jellyfish-like skin, but remember - I'm a long-time vitamin C user and it really works well for me! For those new to pure vitamin C, 25% might feel quite strong and irritating. I'd recommend this to people who have experience with at least 15% pure vitamin C products.
