The coverage was better than I expected, and I loved how moisturizing the cushion itself was. However, it didn't cover my pores well, so I had to use a primer. Also, as time passed, the areas with blemishes became a bit noticeable. For those with combination dehydrated skin or super sensitive skin, you might want to layer this product with a brightening moisturizer for better results. Despite its limitations, it still provides a nice glow and evens out the skin tone for most of the day. - ks****Dry SkinSensitive SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessRecommendedJul 3, 2025
April Skin Magic Snow Cushion As someone who's always been passionate about skin perfection, I've tried countless cushion foundations. I was a long-time fan of April Skin's Hero Cushion, which impressed me with its ability to flawlessly conceal blemishes and skin concerns. While searching for a product that offers both natural and perfect coverage, I stumbled upon an ad for the April Skin Magic Snow Cushion on social media and decided to give it a try. I'm absolutely thrilled with my purchase! The first thing that blew me away about the Magic Snow Cushion was its incredible coverage. I've always struggled with minor imperfections and uneven skin tone, but this cushion magically erased all my skin flaws. Even on days when my skin was acting up and looked blotchy, this cushion was my saving grace. It covered my blemishes so well that it looked like I naturally had clear, healthy skin. The coverage is so complete that I don't even need to use a separate concealer, which is a real time-saver on busy mornings. Unlike the Hero Cushion, which sometimes felt a bit heavy, the Magic Snow Cushion applies like a dream. It adheres to the skin in a thin, even layer, feeling comfortable and breathable. One of my main concerns when choosing a cushion is how it performs around the nose area, and I'm happy to report that this one applies smoothly even on areas with fine lines and frequent movement, like around the nose and eyes. It doesn't settle into creases or bunch up over time, maintaining that fresh, just-applied look for hours. Plus, it barely transfers onto my mask, which is a huge relief. Another standout feature is the puff that comes with the cushion. I was skeptical at first because it felt quite firm, but after a few days of use, it softened up beautifully. As the puff became more pliable, I noticed that it helped the product adhere even better to my skin, creating a natural, skin-like finish. This puff is clearly designed to evenly distribute the product and apply it with precision, giving you that professional makeup artist touch. Interestingly, while the Magic Snow Cushion has a slightly warm undertone, it seems to work well for a variety of skin tones. I even recommended it to a friend with cool-toned skin, and she loves it too! However, there are a few downsides. The glow it gives can sometimes look a bit oily around the nose area. Also, I've noticed that when my skin isn't in the best condition, it can occasionally cause some irritation. It's really disappointing, and sometimes the top part of the puff tends to come apart easily. If you apply too much skincare underneath, it can make the foundation look a bit cakey and separated, so be careful with your base. However, it works great with just a light mist spray. - se********Combination SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessJul 1, 2025
It's nice and hydrating, which is great. However, for anyone except those with dry skin, it might be a bit uncomfortable as a summer cushion since it can get a bit oily. This might vary from person to person, but after using it, I experienced some skin irritation. It's such a shame! The cushion foundation provides good hydration, which is a plus. However, it may not be the best choice for summer use, especially for those who don't have dry skin, as it can lead to excess oil production. Additionally, some users might experience skin sensitivity or irritation after application, though this can differ depending on individual skin types. It's important to patch test and monitor how your skin reacts to the product. - 60*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesInner DrynessRednessDead Skin CellsJun 29, 2025
The skin finish and color are both great. The amount seems generous too. If you have truly sensitive or delicate skin, absolutely do not buy this. The irritation is far too intense. Everyone says it's moisturizing, but for those with extremely dry skin, it wasn't particularly hydrating. - ye**********Oily SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRecommendedJun 29, 2025
I'm someone who really naps a lot at school, but this makeup didn't smudge or come off unless I rubbed it vigorously. There was hardly any transfer either. Even though I have combination dehydrated skin with quite oily areas, I could still use this without it feeling heavy. I feel like it caused some noticeable darkening of my skin. Also, when I smile, it tends to settle into my smile lines a bit. Make sure to prep your skin well with a good skincare routine. - by*******Normal SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSebum/BlackheadsRednessRecommendedJun 29, 2025
First off, when it melts into your skin, it creates such a beautiful complexion! The tone becomes perfectly brightened, and there's absolutely no darkening whatsoever. The coverage is a bit disappointing for an Aprilskin product, as it's not as strong as I'd hoped. Despite the coverage being lighter than expected, the product still offers a lovely finish that enhances your natural complexion. It's great for those who prefer a more subtle, glowing look rather than heavy coverage. - b9********Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 28, 2025
I've been using this for about three weeks. I have combination skin, and my friends recommended it to me. Unfortunately, it tends to clump when I apply powder over it, which was a bit disappointing and fell short of my expectations. The ads claimed there would be no darkening and that it was great, but personally, I experienced some darkening. When you apply powder over this, it clumps up and makes your skin look messy. There's also some darkening, so don't buy it with high expectations. As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I was hoping this product would work well for me. While it didn't meet all my expectations, it's important to note that skincare products can work differently for everyone. If you're considering this product, you might want to test it first or consult with a skincare professional to see if it's suitable for your specific skin type and concerns. - si******Dry SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsDark CirclesRecommendedJun 28, 2025
The April Skin Magic Snow Cushion in shade 21 has truly become my holy grail cushion! When you apply it, it feels incredibly hydrating and adheres to the skin lightly, giving your complexion a soft, velvety appearance. The coverage is fantastic, effectively concealing redness and blemishes while making pores less noticeable, resulting in a flawless-looking complexion. Its semi-matte finish strikes the perfect balance - it doesn't look overly shiny but still imparts a beautiful, subtle glow that gives you that fresh-faced look. The puff is delightfully squishy, allowing for even application with gentle patting motions. With SPF 50+, it provides sun protection, so you can skip the sunscreen step and head out the door - so convenient! A little goes a long way, making it feel like it'll last forever. There's minimal oxidation, so your makeup stays beautiful all day long. The packaging is also incredibly luxurious-looking. Those with sensitive skin should be cautious as it could potentially cause irritation. The shade range isn't particularly extensive, so finding an exact match might be a bit tricky. If you have oily skin, you may notice some pilling around the T-zone area later in the day, so be mindful of that. For best results, start by gently patting a thin layer all over your face, then add a bit more on areas that need extra coverage. This technique ensures smooth application without caking. For oily T-zones, set with a light dusting of powder to increase longevity. On days when you're dealing with redness, dab on some concealer first, then apply the cushion over it for a flawless finish. For an extra boost of hydration, spritz on some face mist before application - it'll glide on beautifully and leave your skin looking dewy and fresh. - k2********Dry SkinJun 28, 2025
Nothing good to say... It darkens the skin terribly and makes your complexion look really off. The more I used it, the worse my skin reaction got. If you want to ruin your face and make it break out, then go ahead and use this. Just don't use it, seriously. - ut*****Combination SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 27, 2025
As someone with combination skin, I'm really enjoying this product. The coverage is quite good, and it adheres to the skin nicely. When you apply it, it just melds with your face! I have a fair complexion, and shade 21 is perfect for me. This is truly my holy grail cushion! If you have combination skin, why haven't you tried this yet? I felt that when it started to wear off, it didn't look very attractive. Also, it tends to settle a bit into the creases around my nose. Works hard to even out skin tone Absorbs well without feeling sticky Great for daily use Helps balance oil and moisture
