The tone-up isn't overwhelming, making it comfortable to wear. As it's a hybrid formula, it absorbs well without feeling heavy, spreading evenly. It's perfect for use before makeup, as it doesn't apply patchily but rather evens out the overall skin tone nicely. Most importantly, it doesn't cause any eye irritation! I have sensitive eyes and usually experience stinging with both hybrid and mineral sunscreens, but this product caused no discomfort at all! When I need to drop my child off at daycare or run errands but feel self-conscious about going bare-faced, applying just this product is enough to create a fresh, luminous 'no-makeup' look.
ConsThere's a slight increase in oiliness as time passes. Though this could be due to the warmer weather or seasonal changes.
TipIt provides enough hydration that you can finish your skincare routine at the essence step and apply this sunscreen directly. In fact, skipping the emulsion step seemed to improve its staying power.

Looking for a foundation-free, brightening moisturizer with SPF? Buy this right now! Hydration: Most brightening moisturizers with SPF tend to be quite thick, often causing dry skin types to experience flaking and patchiness. However, this product applies smoothly and keeps your skin feeling moisturized even after it dries, making it incredibly comfortable to wear. Nearly fragrance-free: The cosmetic scent is very subtle, almost unnoticeable. Travel-friendly: It's lightweight and fits perfectly in your hand, making it ideal for travel. However, this also means the quantity is somewhat limited. > As I'll mention below, you don't need to use a large amount anyway. Quick cleansing: I found that it comes off easily with just a foam cleanser! No need for a second cleanse, which is super convenient. Great for sensitive skin: I occasionally get blemishes, but I've never worried about breakouts while using this product.
ConsAmount control is crucial: I'm not sure if it's because my skin is naturally dark, but even a small amount brightens my complexion quickly! It's essential to control how much you apply. Other than that, I didn't find any drawbacks! CellFusion C is famous for their sunscreens, and now I understand why!

This product has a smooth, emulsion-like texture that absorbs well and adheres nicely to the skin. Typically, sunscreens either apply thickly like ointments, leave a white cast, or feel overly rich, making the skin look greasy. However, the CELL FUSION C sunscreen is less oily and leaves a fresh finish, making it suitable for all skin types.
ConsWhile it's marketed as a brightening moisturizer sunscreen, I find its skin-evening effects to be minimal, which is slightly disappointing.

I usually dislike sticky cosmetics, but this isn't sticky at all. It not only brightens my complexion but also slightly covers dark spots. The texture is neither as thick as basic sunscreens nor as runny as Aquatica - it's just right.
ConsYou need to be careful with the amount you apply. If you use too much, it can initially make your face look overly white.
TipI found it works better when applied with a brush or bare hands rather than a sponge. If you get carried away and apply too much, it can look too white at first, but surprisingly, it absorbs quickly and looks natural. Still, it's best to use the right amount. Applying the proper amount at regular intervals keeps it from feeling heavy and works well.

I've had bad experiences with brightening moisturizers being too thick, but this one is hydrating and spreads evenly without leaving marks. 2. It has a slightly cool scent, but it's subtle and pleasant. 3. I didn't experience any blemishes while using it. 4. It provides a natural brightening effect (not artificial. While it's not dramatically brightening, those who prefer a natural look will appreciate it). 5. When applied to the neck, it doesn't transfer onto clothes.
ConsIt doesn't provide an intense brightening effect. This could be a pro or con depending on personal preference, but if you're specifically looking for significant brightening, I wouldn't strongly recommend this.

Absorbs exceptionally well I was surprised by how moisturizing this brightening moisturizer is - it feels as hydrating as applying a moisturizing sunscreen. It adheres to the skin perfectly, and even with my dry skin, I'm very satisfied. It's not sticky at all and applies smoothly. I've tried tone-up sunscreens from Dalba and Espoir, and while Dalba has a nice rich application, Cell Fusion C feels more hydrating, which I prefer. It doesn't pill even when applied roughly with hands. Highly recommended as a tone-up sunscreen for dry skin! 2. Natural brightening effect It has a slight pink-beige tint, but it doesn't make your face look unnaturally white like some brightening products. It gives a natural tone-up effect even on my darker skin (around shade 24). However, it's not full-coverage enough for a foundation-free look - you might want to add a bit of concealer or cushion foundation. 3. Plays well with makeup Despite being a hybrid sunscreen and brightening moisturizer, it works well under makeup like an organic sunscreen! I used to always use organic sunscreens because other types would make my makeup separate, but I plan to use this all summer for my combination dehydrated skin. 4. Scent This is a personal favorite - it does have a fragrance. If you dislike scented products, you might not enjoy it. However, I appreciate how the scent masks that typical sunscreen smell that I often notice with mineral or hybrid sunscreens. Organic sunscreens don't have this issue, but I actually like the fragrance here as it covers up that characteristic sunscreen odor. Overall, it's a moisturizing tone-up sunscreen that doesn't pill, and I plan to repurchase! I prefer it over Dalba's tone-up sunscreen. Recommended for all skin types!
ConsAt 50ml, it might run out quickly. It's scented, so those who prefer fragrance-free products should pass.

The texture is neither too thick nor too runny - it's just right and feels moisturizing. It gives a nice pink-toned brightening effect that makes your face look radiant (though not recommended for those with redness issues due to the pink tone). Many tone-up sunscreens can cause blemishes, but this product was fine for me. It didn't feel like it was producing excess oil either. The oil level seemed to match my skin's natural state.
ConsLike other tone-up sunscreens, this one can look patchy depending on your skin condition that day. In my experience, you need to have skin that's in good condition for makeup to apply it smoothly and evenly. I didn't notice any particular effect on blemishes, but that might be because I haven't used it for very long.

As the packaging suggests, it has a pinkish tint, and it absorbs incredibly well. Sometimes you find brightening sunscreens that are a bit thick and hard to spread, but this one doesn't have that issue at all. The scent is somewhat like an artificial floral fragrance. Some days I find it pleasant, while other times it feels a bit synthetic. You can naturally sense the fragrance for about a minute after application, but after that, it's not noticeable. Overall, it's easy to apply evenly. After application, it gives a cooler tone than your natural complexion, but it evens out your skin tone nicely. What I love is that it doesn't make you look ghostly white, but instead gives a soft, luminous effect. The brightening effect itself is so natural that it doesn't feel excessive. Even when layered, it doesn't look too heavy. It also pairs well with cushion foundations. It adheres well to the skin without a separate base and doesn't cause any pilling, which is great.
ConsThe fragrance was slightly disappointing. It seems to vary depending on my condition, but occasionally it struck me as very artificial.

It evens skin tone naturally, so those who found foundation uncomfortable might be able to go out with just this on. I have some blemishes, so I apply this and then a cushion on top, and my makeup adheres well without pilling! However, when I apply it hastily after a rushed skincare routine, I feel some dryness after a while, so I recommend applying it after thorough skincare! I'd recommend this product to those who want a natural complexion correction.
ConsAs mentioned above, if I apply it hastily after a rushed skincare routine, I notice oil coming through and it doesn't sit well. On days when I've done a thorough skincare routine, it absorbs well! But for those with oily skin, powder seems to be a must...
TipIf you're planning to apply cushion foundation over this brightening moisturizer with SPF, I recommend waiting about 3-5 minutes before doing so.

Instead, it gives a subtle pink-toned base that beautifully evens out the complexion. 3) Hydration: It's not a drying sunscreen at all. The balanced moisture content keeps my skin feeling comfortable and hydrated. 4) Pre-makeup application: I always apply sunscreen before my base makeup, and this one works hard without any pilling issues.
ConsHonestly? I didn't find any significant downsides while using it. If I had to nitpick, maybe a tiny bit of product sticks to the container?
TipFor those aiming for a flawless complexion without foundation, try layering it two or three times for an even better brightening effect.
