Pros
I used the Hwahae pore-tightening pack so well that I trusted this product and tried it too! I tend to have a lot of heat rising on my face, and especially these days with the changing seasons, my skin has become very sensitive, with pimples and blemishes popping up frequently. However, the cooling sensation of this product immediately calmed and soothed my skin as soon as I applied it. The scent is also very subtle with a slight refreshing aroma, and the cooling effect was noticeable as soon as it touched my skin, though the application is not as lightweight as regular moisturizers. I have oily skin and have never finished my skincare routine with a moisturizer before, but this product is not too light to use as the final step in my morning routine. Skin type: oily, acne-prone Texture: Very similar to the soothing cream of Toridoll. Oil-free and only moisturizing, with a hydrating texture. After application: Leaves a refreshing and soothing feeling. After fully absorbing, there is no stickiness at all. Also does not leave a powdery feeling. Pros
I had a complete skin turnaround right before and after my wedding photoshoot in late March. When I went for a skin treatment, the esthetician actually recommended reducing my usual skincare routine and just trying the Hwahae Trial Reviewers' Frozen Water Cream instead. This cream is focused on hydration and has a gel-like texture, which sounded perfect for lightly applying and providing a cooling sensation. I used it morning and night for a week. Definitely, my skin felt less congested and the product absorbed easily without any dryness. Most importantly, my skin showed some improvement. I was worried it might cause breakouts, but fortunately, it worked well with my skin, even in the cold weather when I was wearing makeup. I'll continue using it, and if I don't experience any issues, I'd love to repurchase it. The gradient packaging is also really pretty, so I think it would make a great gift as well.
