It absorbs really well, feels moisturizing, and gives your skin a beautiful glow. It's like a primer without artificial shine. When applied, there's no tightness or tired feeling around the eyes, and it's easy to cleanse off, making it great for men to use too. Being manufactured by Kolmar Korea adds to its credibility. It would be nice if they came out with a similar product that includes both organic and inorganic sunscreens. Of course, I'm not sure if a hybrid sunscreen is scientifically more effective than purely organic ones... Still, it's better than not wearing any sun protection at all. The fact that it's an organic sunscreen is a drawback. While it might be good for dry skin before makeup application, on days when you use this, it's best to layer it with a high pH BB cream or foundation. There is not a single white cast FACT / No eye irritation FACT / Skin comfort GOAT It's truly godly... It even pairs well with foundation... The base adheres tightly and doesn't slide off... It's just so godly in every way, really... There is none. It's not really high summer yet, but it's very nice.

It combines Centella Asiatica, excellent for skin soothing, with Prunus Persica Leaf extract, known for its regenerative properties, creating a unique repair complex. Along with mung bean seed and mugwort extracts, it's great for calming the skin. The texture is similar to a hydrating moisturizer. It spreads as smoothly as a skincare product. Its lightweight feel makes it easy to quickly apply all over the face. After application, it leaves a subtle, radiant finish. With no white cast or stickiness, it should work well under makeup. As someone with combination skin, slightly oily in the T-zone, I found this product's moisturizing finish perfect for daily use. It's also conveniently portable, fitting easily in a makeup pouch, and its clean design makes me reach for it often. I recommend this sunscreen to those who prefer organic UV filters! It's so hydrating! It applies just like a moisturizer. There's hardly any stinging around the eyes, and it doesn't leave a white cast - it really feels like a regular moisturizer. When I use it before makeup, my foundation goes on smoothly. If I had to nitpick, I wish it was a bit more affordable. When I first applied it, the lightweight texture glided on smoothly, feeling fresh and airy. Unlike thicker sunscreens that can pill or feel heavy, this one from Damton doesn't do that at all and isn't sticky either. Another great point is how gentle it is. Being a hydrating cica sunscreen, it's incredibly moisturizing and mild, making it perfect for those summer days when you just want to apply sunscreen and head out. Plus, since we need to reapply sunscreen often in summer, this one's so comfortable that frequent application won't be a burden. Highly recommend! There's not much to complain about, but I do feel like the 50ml size seems a bit small. Since it's such a good product, I'm worried I'll use it up too quickly, which would be a shame. I've noticed that frequent sunscreen application can sometimes rub off foundation. In those cases, I mix the sunscreen with my foundation before applying. [Texture] I usually use sunscreen essences with an emulsion texture, and this Damton Soothing Cica Sunscreen had a similar feel. It applies smoothly without pilling, making it easy to use. It felt slightly thicker, but not heavy at all! [Blemish concerns] There was one ingredient that could potentially cause acne, so I was a bit worried. However, after using the Damton sunscreen, I didn't notice any new breakouts or increased skin sensitivity. [Pros and Cons] I found it more hydrating than my previous sunscreen essence. I'd recommend this to those who dislike dry sunscreens or have dry skin. For oily skin types, it might be better suited for winter use! I also noticed a slight brightening effect. When I looked in the mirror after applying, my complexion seemed brighter. As for cons, there weren't any significant ones. I didn't experience any eye stinging or blemishes, at least by my standards. * As it's an organic sunscreen, it doesn't have a brightening effect. * It's a washable formula, and I was skeptical about claims that it could be removed with just foam cleansing. But on days when I only wore this sunscreen without makeup, I skipped double cleansing and still had no skin issues! Personally, I love this product so much that I don't have any complaints about its performance or potential for causing blemishes. However, I wish it came in a larger size! As it's a sunscreen I use daily, it gets used up quickly. The current volume feels too small, and I find myself running out too fast, which is a bit disappointing. In my opinion, sunscreens can be divided into two categories: those suitable for use under makeup (which might be too glowy or rich to wear alone) and those for days without makeup (which should have just enough richness to prevent dryness, but not be too matte and cause skin tightness; a brightening effect is nice but not necessary). The Damtone Cica Sunscreen seems to work well in both scenarios. As someone who's always on the hunt for the perfect sunscreen, I can only use gentle formulas. I was lucky enough to win this one and have been using it exclusively every day. <Texture> I loved that it's not a thick consistency. In the hot summer, heavy creams can feel suffocating, but this one has an emulsion-like, moisturizing texture that feels like it absorbs well into the skin. Even with multiple applications, there's no white cast - your natural complexion shows through. I absolutely hate when sunscreens leave a white sheen, but this doesn't do that at all. True to its name, it's incredibly hydrating! <No Irritation After Use> I often experience itching and burning sensations with some sunscreens, but I didn't have any of these issues with this one. As an additional test, I applied it every two hours for a few days without cleansing in between, and there was no pilling, stickiness, or irritation whatsoever. Conclusion: Highly recommended! There are no downsides! It's moisturizing and feels like an emulsion. I think I could quickly use up even the large size.
