After attaching the applicator, you gently massage it around your eyes, and a red LED light comes on. I love how convenient it is to carry when traveling. I thought it might sting a bit since it's a 'shot', but I didn't feel anything at all. I wonder if I'll see some improvement after using up the whole tube? I'll make sure to update my review after consistent use. I've been bothered by the puffiness under my eyes, and since this product targets that specific area, I'm hopeful it'll be effective. It absorbs well and doesn't cause any irritation. While it's convenient to apply the cream directly to the eye area while massaging, I prefer to use them separately for hygiene reasons. It seems fine to apply the eye cream first and then use the device without attaching the applicator. One slight disappointment is that it doesn't have a heating function like some similar devices do. Since it doesn't need charging, it's perfect for taking on trips.
