It has just the right amount of richness for combination dehydrated skin. While I haven't noticed my complexion becoming brighter yet, it lives up to its description as a radiance-boosting, hydrating emulsion. It nourishes without being excessive, and after application, my skin feels subtly more vibrant and healthier. Like other Dalba products, it has a pleasant scent. Though it's a bit strong for an emulsion, it has a nice citrusy fragrance. However, due to its rich texture, it might be too heavy for summer use.
ConsWhile the fragrance is pleasant, it's quite strong, almost as if I've spritzed perfume on my face. I wish it were a bit more subtle.

If you have oily skin, this emulsion alone might provide enough hydration. I have dry skin, so I still use a cream, but in summer this could be sufficient on its own. Gentle ingredients Some whitening products can sting when skin isn't in the best condition, but this one can be applied gently without any skin discomfort, which is great. Refreshing scent The fragrance is fresh and pleasant. Quantity There's a generous amount of product. It's reassuring to know it will last for several months. Subtle Inner Glow When you apply this, you get a slight inner glow...! It also works well under makeup..! And while it's a small detail, I love that Dalba products have luxurious and pretty packaging.
ConsRoom for improvement: Firstly, true to Dalba's style, it's on the pricier side. While I always make sure to use at least one whitening product, I haven't really noticed much of a difference... This one is no exception... Nevertheless, Dalba products consistently have good quality, so I'm tempted to try their ampoule when it's on sale...!

The texture is more of a fluid, hydrating emulsion rather than a thick yellow cream. It absorbs smoothly and moisturizes well, with a silky finish that suggests a touch of oil in the formula.
ConsWhile it's not sticky, I was a bit disappointed that it doesn't fully absorb into the skin. It seems to contain some oil, which leaves a slight residue on the surface.

Luckily, I won this product and was so excited to try it out! The texture is like a thin emulsion that applies smoothly. While it doesn't absorb super quickly in my experience, it's not slow either. There's no stickiness, and it leaves a sleek finish on the skin. The scent is hard to describe exactly, but it's like a subtle, fresh lemon fragrance. I enjoyed it, but those sensitive to scents might have mixed feelings. It's too early to tell about changes in skin tone and overall improvements - I'll need to use it longer. As a pregnant woman, I felt reassured that it's a certified vegan product.
ConsThe fragrance might be hit or miss for some. Other than that, I'm satisfied with the product!

When I applied it to my face, there was no burning or tingling sensation, and I didn't experience any blemishes or tiny bumps the next day like I often do with other products. That was a huge plus for me! I typically apply cream as the last step in my routine, but lately, I've found most creams to be a bit heavy. This one, however, is just perfect. I love how quickly it absorbs into the skin. After applying it, I can't quite explain it, but I feel like my complexion looks brighter! The texture isn't thick or heavy; it's more of a moisturizing emulsion. I also enjoyed the scent. Unlike other products that have an artificial fruity smell, this one has a subtle, floral fragrance. I'm not sure how to describe it exactly, but I found it quite pleasant.
ConsI have some dark spots, and after using this for about 10 days, I'm not sure if they've faded yet. While my skin does look brighter overall, I think it'll take longer to see results on the hyperpigmented areas.
TipI found that using a vitamin sheet mask, then letting the essence absorb, followed by this emulsion, made my skin look noticeably brighter the next day.

The formula is a lotion type housed in a hygienic pump-style glass container. It has a gentle, refreshing herbal scent typical of the Dalba brand. The texture is just right - not too thick or too thin. The application is smooth and easy, absorbing quickly without a greasy residue. It provides adequate moisture without feeling heavy or rich. After absorption, there is a subtle, appropriate oiliness that helps maintain hydration without interfering with makeup application. The key ingredients include 99% pure vitamin C, 98% glutathione, and niacinamide. This combination seems to have evened out my skin tone and imparted a healthy, radiant glow from within. It's an effective "makeup-friendly" moisturizer.
ConsIt seems like using this alone would be too drying, especially in the winter or transitional seasons, and you would need to apply a cream as well.
TipFor skincare purposes, it is recommended to use it lightly during the summer or not too dry seasons.

The absorption wasn't too light and quick, nor too heavy - it was just right for an emulsion, leaving the skin hydrated with a very slight hint of richness. It has a citrusy scent, and since it contains Vitamin C, it's great for those looking to brighten their complexion or reduce blemishes. However, two weeks was a bit short to fully experience these effects. It should be suitable for most skin types, as long as you're not super sensitive. Despite the changing seasons making my skin more reactive, I didn't experience any adverse reactions. I'd recommend this to anyone looking for long-term blemish improvement without stressing their skin.
ConsIf your skin is extremely sensitive due to Vitamin C, this might not be suitable. However, if your skin is in such a delicate state, it's best to avoid not just this product, but anything that could potentially cause irritation. Even though my skin isn't in the best condition, this product didn't cause any irritation. All in all, I highly recommend this especially when your skin barrier is in a relatively good state!
TipIt's best to apply Vitamin C products at night! Let it work hard on improving your blemishes while you sleep.

As someone with combination dehydrated skin, I often dislike products that are too oily, but find very light creams leave me feeling dry quickly. This product strikes the perfect balance. It has a rich feel without being excessive, and the hydration is excellent, keeping my skin moisturized for a long time. Among the emulsions I've used, this one seems to be the least oily while still preventing dryness. The subtle floral scent is a mood-lifter when applying.
ConsSince my skin has been acting up recently, I'll need more time to determine if it's suitable for blemish-prone skin. I'll update this if it turns out not to be the cause of any issues. The glass container is quite heavy, though it does look beautiful.

It's worth noting that due to its emulsion nature, it may produce a slight oiliness after a while, which might be a bit much for those with very oily skin. The ingredients include niacinamide, vitamins, glutathione, and hyaluronic acid, which work together to brighten the complexion while providing light hydration - perfect! I've been using it consistently since I received it, and I've genuinely noticed an improvement in my skin tone!
ConsI'd recommend this for dry and combination dehydrated skin types. Since it's an emulsion, you need to be okay with a bit of richness, so those with oily or extremely oily skin might want to think twice before purchasing.

From the weighty, transparent matte glass bottle to the refreshing citrus scent and the oil-moisture balance of the product, it feels high-end whether you're looking at the packaging or the product efficacy. Especially since whitening effects require long-term use, I'm consistently and satisfyingly using it, placing it in a visible spot on my vanity because it looks so elegant. The citrus scent complements the yellow formulation, which is a distinctive feature of this product. The oil and moisture balance is so good that applying just this emulsion feels quite sufficient. The naming as a 'serum emulsion' makes perfect sense. It has a moisturizing application like a serum, and it feels like there's a layer of oil left at the end. Although I've only used it for a few days and haven't noticed dramatic brightening effects yet, the overall package, formulation, and fragrance give the impression that a lot of care went into making this product, so I have high expectations for its brightening performance.
ConsIf you apply too much or layer it with other products, it can feel a bit greasy on the surface. It's best to apply just the right amount. If you find it's not hydrating enough with the recommended amount, it might be better to use a different cream product on top.
TipSince Vitamin C is vulnerable to UV rays, it might be better to apply this at night. Even if you apply sunscreen during the day, it still feels a bit concerning.
