The product comes in a weighty, frosted glass bottle that looks luxurious and allows you to see how much product is left - a great feature! Texture and scent: - True to its name, it has a serum emulsion consistency - yellow in color, neither too runny nor too thick. Easy to apply after pumping onto the back of your hand. The fragrance is similar to Dalba's famous mist, but slightly stronger. It's not overwhelming or headache-inducing though. A pleasant blend of subtle herbal and citrus notes. Absorption and feel: - As a 'Vita Toning Serum Emulsion', I had high hopes for this product. I typically avoid heavy creams as they feel suffocating, so I was excited to try this. Initially, it glides on smoothly with a hydrating feel. However, after a while, it develops a slightly oily sensation, almost like an oil film coating the skin. The finish is a bit rich, so it takes some time to fully absorb into the skin. Brightening and toning effects: - While long-term use is needed for definitive results, after just a few days of use, I noticed my complexion looked brighter the morning after applying this as the final step in my skincare routine.
ConsThe final feel is a bit oily and rich, which is slightly disappointing. It's fine for the current transitional season, but might be too heavy for summer. However, I would recommend this to those with dry skin or anyone looking for a hydrating serum with a rich feel!

No blemishes It's gentle and doesn't cause breakouts! Even those with super sensitive skin can use it with peace of mind. 2. Hydration Even without using a serum, the emulsion alone provides sufficient hydration! 3. Hygienic pump bottle The pump design allows for more hygienic use compared to jar packaging. Plus, the glass bottle makes it easy to see how much product you've used, which is really convenient! 4. Brightening effect? I think we'll need to use it consistently to know for sure... I'll add an update after using up the whole bottle.
Cons1. Strong fragrance The scent is quite strong! It has a floral aroma, but since I've been using only fragrance-free cosmetics, it feels more intense to me... When I'm not feeling well, it can make me a bit queasy, so those sensitive to fragrances should be cautious! 2. Rich texture It's slightly rich, so those with oily skin might find it makes their skin a bit greasy by the afternoon.
TipSince it contains vitamin C, it might be better to apply it at night.

First off, it absorbs well with a smooth application and absorbs quickly! Knowing that I tend to break out when I use too much vitamin-based products, I started by applying a thin layer with a small amount and gradually increased the quantity. So far, I haven't experienced any blemishes! The brightening effect isn't dramatically noticeable, so I'll need to keep using it to see more results. It feels slightly rich, so I think it would be great for those with dry or combination skin! The scent is also pleasant and not overpowering.
ConsI feel the price is a bit high compared to the amount you get! While it absorbs well, as someone with oily skin, I prefer water-based moisturizers that absorb cleanly rather than emulsions. I was slightly disappointed by the rich feeling! I mainly applied it at night rather than in the morning.
TipFor those with oily skin, I recommend keeping your base skincare routine light when using this product to avoid a heavy feeling on your complexion!

I was particularly satisfied with its non-irritating formula. Absorption rate: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ This aspect really surprised me. Despite its slightly rich texture, it absorbs incredibly quickly and well, sinking effortlessly into the skin. It absorbs more like a serum than a cream, which I found very satisfying. Effectiveness: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I typically have small freckles, and while I'm not sure if they've completely disappeared, I could definitely see an overall brightening of my complexion. I was particularly impressed by how clear and fair my skin became. Considering I have quite a few brightening products, the fact that I noticed such results in a short time speaks volumes about its effectiveness. Hydration: ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Compared to other brightening ampoules and creams, this product offers superior hydration and moisturization. Unlike some spot-treating ampoules that lack hydration and require mixing with other creams, this emulsion provides sufficient hydration on its own. Oil content: ⭐️⭐️⭐️ The formula is slightly rich, which can make the skin look a bit shiny when applied in the morning before makeup. Therefore, I recommend it for nighttime use.
ConsDaytime use: Due to its slightly rich texture, it might cause makeup to pill if applied in the morning. I recommend using it as part of your nighttime routine. For dry skin: Those with dry skin might find this emulsion alone insufficient for hydration. I strongly suggest layering it with other products or applying a cream on top.
TipThis emulsion is excellent for daily care, and I recommend using it consistently. Rather than applying multiple layers of ampoules beforehand, I suggest pairing it with a toner and essence, followed by a light layer of moisturizing cream. It's particularly recommended for oily and combination skin types as part of a nighttime routine.

It's a pump-style bottle with a lid, which is great for hygiene. The serum itself has a unique chick-yellow color, which I found quite intriguing as I've never used a yellow serum before! • The texture is that of a typical smooth serum - not too runny or thick, which is perfect. However, you can feel a bit of richness to it. • The ingredients are excellent, so you can use it with confidence. As someone with blemish-prone skin, I always scrutinize ingredients, and this seems quite gentle. It also contains brightening ingredients, so I'm looking forward to seeing those effects! • When gently applied to the face, it seems to address deep dryness! Follow up with a moisturizer, and you won't feel any dryness at all. • The volume is generous compared to standard products, so it should last a while!
Cons• The fragrance is quite strong. It's somewhat reminiscent of older women's cosmetics... Those sensitive to scents might want to test it before purchasing. • As someone with combination dehydrated and blemish-prone skin who really dislikes excess oil... this product does leave a somewhat rich feel after application. It might be fine for dry skin types, but those with oily skin should definitely test it first.
Tip• Since the product itself has a rich feel, I've been pairing it with lighter skincare products in my routine!

But after using the d'Alba Vita Toning Serum Emulsion, I noticed my complexion became significantly clearer and more radiant. What I love is that just a light application provides long-lasting hydration, making it perfect for my combination skin. The texture, somewhere between a serum and an emulsion, allows for comfortable use both morning and night. It absorbs cleanly without pilling under makeup, naturally becoming part of my daily routine. Personally, I enjoyed the subtle orange peel scent, and its gentle absorption without irritation was a major plus, especially on days when my skin felt sensitive. Above all, I found that it smoothed my skin texture, making my makeup apply much better. It truly bridges the gap between skincare and base makeup beautifully.
ConsWhile I found the overall feel quite refreshing, those with different skin types might find it a bit rich. Also, the price point might seem slightly high, so purchasing during a sale could lead to higher satisfaction.
TipOn days when your skin looks particularly dull or dehydrated, try applying a generous amount of the serum emulsion, gently pressing it in with the warmth of your palms, and then layering a moisturizer on top. The next day, your skin will look much firmer and more vibrant. For makeup application, lightly layer just 1-2 pumps before your base. This creates a smooth canvas that helps your makeup last longer.

From the weighty, transparent matte glass bottle to the refreshing citrus scent and the oil-moisture balance of the product, it feels high-end whether you're looking at the packaging or the product efficacy. Especially since whitening effects require long-term use, I'm consistently and satisfyingly using it, placing it in a visible spot on my vanity because it looks so elegant. The citrus scent complements the yellow formulation, which is a distinctive feature of this product. The oil and moisture balance is so good that applying just this emulsion feels quite sufficient. The naming as a 'serum emulsion' makes perfect sense. It has a moisturizing application like a serum, and it feels like there's a layer of oil left at the end. Although I've only used it for a few days and haven't noticed dramatic brightening effects yet, the overall package, formulation, and fragrance give the impression that a lot of care went into making this product, so I have high expectations for its brightening performance.
ConsIf you apply too much or layer it with other products, it can feel a bit greasy on the surface. It's best to apply just the right amount. If you find it's not hydrating enough with the recommended amount, it might be better to use a different cream product on top.
TipSince Vitamin C is vulnerable to UV rays, it might be better to apply this at night. Even if you apply sunscreen during the day, it still feels a bit concerning.

I have combination dehydrated skin with slight pigmentation and redness. First off, my overall complexion has brightened. My uneven, blemished skin has become more balanced. In this hot season, just the emulsion seems sufficient. No need for cream. Applying just toner, essence, and emulsion provides satisfactory hydration. It should be great for dry skin too. The absorption is really good, and I experienced no blemishes.
ConsIt's richer than I expected. It might be a bit heavy for oily skin types, but it's just right for combination dehydrated or dry skin. There were moments when my skin appeared slightly yellow right after application.
TipFor those with oily skin, it might feel a bit uncomfortable due to its richness.

Despite my oily skin, it doesn't feel heavy or suffocating at all. It's like a refreshing oil that absorbs smoothly. I have acne-prone oily skin, but my complexion stayed clear during the usage period. Maybe because vitamin C products work well for me, when I apply it at night, I wake up with a glow and slightly brighter skin. I was especially satisfied when I used it instead of cream after essence in my pre-makeup skincare routine - my makeup adhered better than usual. My mom also loves using it, so we'll likely repurchase. Oh, and the fragrance is amazing... It really lifts my mood while applying!
ConsThe price is quite steep. It's a relief that at least the quantity isn't small... While the product itself is good, there are aspects that might divide opinions. Being an emulsion, it's quite rich, and it contains fragrance. However, both the texture and scent suited my preferences, hence the positive review.
TipMy mom used it too and was quite satisfied. It might make a nice gift for mothers.

I've been consistently testing Dalba products through Hwahae for a while now. I also frequently purchase and use their sunscreen, hair mist, foam cleanser, and serum mist. Because of this, I know Dalba products better than other brands and can provide a more honest review. Let me first describe my skin type: I have extremely dry skin with some oiliness in the T-zone, dead skin cells, makeup that doesn't sit well even after applying base makeup, redness, blemishes around the chin and cheeks (varies depending on skin condition), and even atopic dermatitis. My atopic dermatitis is quite severe, requiring regular medication and injections. So, my skin type is quite challenging. To briefly explain the product, it contains a high amount of Vitamin C, glutathione, and niacinamide, which provide brightening benefits. It helps reduce dark spots and improves complexion. Although it's 100mL, it looks like there's more product. It has a very yellow, luxurious appearance. The way it dispenses is a bit... well, it's just my sense of humor, but it's kind of fun to use. Honestly, I prefer this push-type dispenser over squeeze tubes as it's more convenient. It eliminates skin dryness, provides hydration, and keeps the skin moisturized. My complexion seems improved and overall brighter. With consistent use, even my small bumps seem to have subsided. This product is part of the Vita Toning series, which also includes a toner, serum, emulsion, and cream. If this product works for you, I recommend using products from the same company and line.
ConsDo I have to mention any slight inconveniences when the product is so good...? My mom started using it after seeing how much I liked it, and she ended up taking it! She really loves Dalba products... If you try it and it doesn't work for you, consider giving it to your mother. It's the kind of product mothers tend to love. Also, personally, I have dry skin, and since this product has some oil content, it can look a bit greasy. But on the other hand, I found that the slightly heavy texture that stays on the skin for a while actually helps it absorb better and keeps the skin moisturized. Don't worry too much - even though I have dry skin and it felt quite rich, it wasn't bad at all! I hope you use it and see your skin improve!
