As someone with an autumn mute personal color, this shade is perfect for everyday wear. It's not too intense, so it won't make you look like a clown, but it's not so light that it disappears. The color is just right for daily use. It works well even on dry lips and has good staying power. However, it tends to deepen in color as you apply more, so you might need to blot it with lip balm occasionally to maintain the desired shade.

After application, it forms a thin moisturizing layer, which keeps my lips from drying out and prevents color changes! The case itself is beautifully simple, and I appreciate its square shape - no worries about it rolling away! I'm not sure if it's just this shade, but there seems to be a slight "yogurt effect" where a white cast appears on the lips. It's fine when layered with other lip products though. The Shocking Tint is famous for its long-lasting power. I initially bought a different shade, but it was too intense for me to use often. However, the new Apricot shade is perfect - it's lighter in color but still has great staying power, which I love.
