I bought this to keep my bangs in place, and it works great for that purpose! The hold is really effective. When I spray it on my bangs, it ends up getting all over my forehead and face. I'm concerned it might not be good for my skin. To address that drawback, I've found a great solution! I put the product in a fine mist spray bottle from Daiso. This combination works wonderfully! The ultra-fine mist allows for more precise application, so it's less likely to get on your skin. I sprayed it on my bangs and it held them in place perfectly with just one application. I'm not sure if it would be okay to use on the skin when spraying. I wish it were unscented, as the fragrance seems quite strong. - jd*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedApr 12, 2025
This is the best fixer I've tried so far! First off, it doesn't cause any blemishes, and it doesn't set too stiffly. When you spray a moderate amount and let it dry to set your makeup, it seems to last all day long. I've struggled with other brands that either set too hard or caused severe skin reactions (ugh), but I think I'll be sticking with Dewycel from now on! The ingredients are gentle too. The only downside is that the fragrance is a bit strong... It would be great if they could tone down the scent a little. It's great to use with a face shield you can buy on Coupang when spraying! And it's essential to gently dry it with a hair dryer while shaping your makeup - that's a must!

Best used for setting hair in place - Sprays out forcefully like spitting. The spray is thick and strong, causing it to coat not just the bangs but the forehead too... - Even after spraying and blow-drying 3 times, hair still flies away with a slightly stronger breeze. Might hold better if you have thicker bangs
