I've been using other Belif products regularly, so when I heard about their new Frozen line, I had to try it! 1. Non-irritating After applying it to my skin, I didn't experience any sensitivity or additional blemishes. Looking at the ingredients, I was pleased to see that there's nothing particularly irritating. 2. Suitable for oily skin Despite being part of the Aqua Bomb line and a hydrating moisturizer, it applies lightly, which works well for my extremely oily skin. When I woke up the next morning after using it, my skin wasn't an oil slick, resulting in less sebum production, which I really appreciated. 3. Price I purchased it from Olive Young during a sale event for around 20,000 won. Compared to Belif's other hydrating moisturizers, the price was very reasonable. 4. Application When you first squeeze it out, you'll notice white particles (frozen capsules) along with the cream. It might seem odd at first, but as you apply it, the particles dissolve easily, absorbing well into the skin without pilling or sitting on top. 5. Tube packaging While many products in the Aqua Bomb line come in dome-shaped containers, the Frozen Cream comes in a tube, allowing for clean and easy use. 1. Cooling effect barely noticeable I had high hopes for the cooling effect and it was the main reason I bought this product. However, when stored at room temperature, I kept doubting if the product was made correctly because there was absolutely no "frozen" level of cooling, neither during nor after application. The sensation remained the same throughout. While refrigerating it might enhance the cooling effect, that would work for any moisturizer. Even as I continue to use it, I feel the product doesn't live up to its name. Additionally, even setting aside the cooling effect, this cream didn't offer any other significant benefits like pore tightening. 2. Least hydrating in the Aqua Bomb line Among the Aqua Bomb line, this seems to be the least hydrating. While it somewhat works for my extremely oily skin, I think those with dry skin might find it lacking in hydration, even during summer. In conclusion, while I'll use up what I've purchased, I won't be buying this product again. Storing it in the refrigerator before use will definitely maximize the cooling effect! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2025
The heat sensation subsided, and despite my oily skin, it had the best absorption and texture. They also included a toner and a larger size product, which was great for times when I experienced a lot of warmth on my skin. The downside is that it seems to only be good for reducing heat and absorbing well. Also, it stung when applying, which I think led to more frequent blemishes. While Hwahae offers many products, I hope you find one that suits your specific skin type. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 17, 2025
I wrote it with anticipation because it's unique. Cosmetics that come in capsules are usually good, aren't they? The application is smooth, and it's said to have a function to reduce puffiness, so it came out well for massaging. However, the skin later became so dry that it needed to be washed off. I tried it on my hands as well, and my skin felt tight, so I quickly applied another cream. I didn't feel like the ingredients were so bad that my skin would peel off, but the strong feeling of tightness was very clear, so I won't be buying Belief products again in the future. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinMay 13, 2025
I used this product for about two weeks from April 29 to May 13. The absorption was great with no sticky feeling, leaving my skin hydrated. I travel frequently, and after cleansing at the airport, I applied it to my puffy face. When I boarded the plane, the swelling seemed to subside. It was also effective during my hormonal days when I tend to get puffy. Even after company dinners, I saw positive results after cleansing. I'm using it with great satisfaction! I wish the toner bottle had a spray function. It was a bit inconvenient to use with cotton pads. When traveling to countries with humid or hot climates, I found it more effective to store the product in the refrigerator before use. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinMay 11, 2025
There's a very faint cool scent that's almost unnoticeable. The texture is similar to typical moisturizers, with good absorption and a feeling of deep hydration. You can see frozen capsules scattered throughout, and it absorbs easily without any noticeable irritation. They say makeup tends to break down when your skin feels hot, but I could feel my skin's surface temperature drop immediately after application, so I think it'll work well as a makeup base. As for the pore tightening effect... well, I couldn't really notice it. It seems more suitable for those with oily skin rather than dry skin types. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 10, 2025
After using it for about 3 weeks, I'm sharing my review. I only applied it in the morning, and I noticed a cooling effect and a temporary pore-minimizing effect! I didn't experience any blemishes, and even when I applied it before makeup, there was no pilling or separation. The texture doesn't run, and it absorbs well! There are small particles in it, so those with super sensitive skin might find it a bit irritating when applying! When applied before makeup, it cools down your face, helping your makeup go on smoothly! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 30, 2025
The moisturizer absorbs smoothly and feels like it's hugging my skin. Its hydrating effect lasts quite long, making me reach for it often. When applied in the morning, it leaves my skin firm and dewy, creating a perfect canvas for makeup. The cool texture seems to help reduce puffiness when used in the morning. There's nothing particularly bad, but those with dry skin might find it a bit light for their needs. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinApr 27, 2025
My skin tends to be hot and dry, but when I apply this, it reduces the heat in my skin and completely fills it with hydration. It's really great to use after working out or on hot summer days! It applies lightly while providing moisture, making your skin feel like it's coated. As it's lightweight, it's not oily or heavy at all, and there's absolutely no stickiness! The texture is smooth and leaves a nice, firm finish, so I think it would suit oily or combination skin types well. Also, it's really gentle, so I highly recommend it for those with super sensitive skin!!! It has a calming effect too - I have blemish-prone skin, and it's helped soothe my blemishes a lot. When you keep it in the fridge and apply it, the cooling effect is amazing!!! It's a bit disappointing that it doesn't have any brightening or firming effects besides hydration. If you store it in the freezer, it becomes incredibly refreshing!!! - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinApr 26, 2025
I was lucky enough to be selected for the Hwahae Testers program to try this product. The texture is a moisturizing gel with small beads. It applies smoothly and feels gentle on the skin. The beads don't cause any irritation at all, and it's perfect for reducing puffiness. The gel format also adds a refreshing coolness. It's truly become an essential part of my morning skincare routine. There's honestly nothing bad to say about this product. If I had to nitpick, I'd say the toner that comes with it is a bit underwhelming. But other than that, it's absolutely fantastic! Pro tip: Apply this when you want to reduce morning puffiness or when your skin feels hot and inflamed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 22, 2025
True to its name, it's a refreshing cream that absorbs well. The tube packaging is also great for hygiene. As an aqua bomb cream, I expected more hydration, but it feels a bit light.
