I've been using other Belif products regularly, so when I heard about their new Frozen line, I had to try it! 1. Non-irritating After applying it to my skin, I didn't experience any sensitivity or additional blemishes. Looking at the ingredients, I was pleased to see that there's nothing particularly irritating. 2. Suitable for oily skin Despite being part of the Aqua Bomb line and a hydrating moisturizer, it applies lightly, which works well for my extremely oily skin. When I woke up the next morning after using it, my skin wasn't an oil slick, resulting in less sebum production, which I really appreciated. 3. Price I purchased it from Olive Young during a sale event for around 20,000 won. Compared to Belif's other hydrating moisturizers, the price was very reasonable. 4. Application When you first squeeze it out, you'll notice white particles (frozen capsules) along with the cream. It might seem odd at first, but as you apply it, the particles dissolve easily, absorbing well into the skin without pilling or sitting on top. 5. Tube packaging While many products in the Aqua Bomb line come in dome-shaped containers, the Frozen Cream comes in a tube, allowing for clean and easy use. 1. Cooling effect barely noticeable I had high hopes for the cooling effect and it was the main reason I bought this product. However, when stored at room temperature, I kept doubting if the product was made correctly because there was absolutely no "frozen" level of cooling, neither during nor after application. The sensation remained the same throughout. While refrigerating it might enhance the cooling effect, that would work for any moisturizer. Even as I continue to use it, I feel the product doesn't live up to its name. Additionally, even setting aside the cooling effect, this cream didn't offer any other significant benefits like pore tightening. 2. Least hydrating in the Aqua Bomb line Among the Aqua Bomb line, this seems to be the least hydrating. While it somewhat works for my extremely oily skin, I think those with dry skin might find it lacking in hydration, even during summer. In conclusion, while I'll use up what I've purchased, I won't be buying this product again. Storing it in the refrigerator before use will definitely maximize the cooling effect! - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinAtopy SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 19, 2025
The formula features small capsules suspended in a transparent gel cream. As soon as you apply it, you'll feel a refreshing cooling sensation. To be honest, the cooling effect isn't extremely strong or long-lasting, but it's sufficient for providing daily soothing relief from heat. Immediately after application, you may notice a slight oily feel, but it's quickly absorbed, and since it's a gel cream, you don't have to worry about it feeling sticky. In fact, it leaves a fresh, comfortable finish. Even when you apply just a small amount of a heavier cream in the summer, it can feel stuffy, but this product has a lightweight, burden-free feel that's great for the hot summer months. I'd recommend this cooling, lightweight cream to those looking for a suitable option for summer, as well as to those with oily or combination skin types. It's also great for men!! (My boyfriend and I have been using it together!) Alcohol, mint, and other ingredients may provide an extremely cooling sensation, so we do not recommend this product for those seeking that effect. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 25, 2025
The most satisfying aspect was undoubtedly its exceptional hydration. As soon as you apply it, you feel your skin instantly quenched with moisture, and it's impressive how it absorbs without leaving any residue, keeping your skin feeling supple. With its gel-like texture, it's lightweight and refreshing, making it particularly suitable for oily and combination skin types. Another advantage is that it doesn't cause pilling when applied before makeup, and it's comfortable to use even in summer without feeling heavy. I also appreciated the subtle herbal scent, and found it gentle enough to use comfortably even when my skin was feeling sensitive. The lasting power of the moisturizing effect was slightly disappointing. For those with dry skin, it might not be sufficient on its own to combat dryness. You may need to pair it with a richer product, especially during winter or for nighttime use. If you're in search of a hydrating and refreshing moisturizer, I highly recommend this product. It's particularly great for daytime use, and those with oily or combination skin are likely to be very satisfied. However, if you have dry skin, you might find the moisturizing power a bit lacking - just something to keep in mind! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinApr 17, 2025
① Explosive cooling effect and soothing power The moment it touches your skin, it melts in with a refreshing coolness, effectively calming heat. Especially great for summer skin that's been overheated by sun exposure. Even those with super sensitive skin can use it without irritation. ② Fresh hydration without stickiness Delivers moisture without leaving an oily residue, making it perfect for combination dehydrated skin. Absorbs lightly without feeling sticky or heavy - ideal for a daily moisturizer. ③ No pilling under makeup Absorbs quickly with minimal residue, so it won't cause pilling or caking when applied before makeup. It actually seems to improve the longevity of your base makeup by creating the perfect canvas. ④ Frozen concept for refrigerator storage Storing the product in the fridge doubles its cooling power, making it the perfect solution for summer skin woes. Great for soothing heat and managing pores. ⑤ Trusted brand & dermatologist tested Formulated with Belif's signature herbal blend, it's safe even for sensitive skin. Dermatologist tested, so you can use it without worrying about blemishes. The subtle, natural scent makes it perfect for daily use without overwhelming your senses. While it's a moisturizing cream with great cooling effects, it might not provide enough hydration in winter. Especially if you have dry skin, you may feel some tightness after the moisture evaporates when used alone. For those with dry skin, it's best to layer it with another cream or use additional moisturizing products in fall and winter. ① Use as a cooling mask after refrigeration When your skin feels hot, apply a thick layer of the refrigerated Aqua Bomb Frozen Cream all over your face and leave for 10 minutes. It's like a cooling mask, especially effective on areas affected by sun exposure or mask-related blemishes. ② 'Hydrating primer' before makeup Apply a small amount before foundation to smooth skin texture and balance oil and moisture, preventing makeup from caking. Particularly useful in summer for creating a matte yet hydrated base. ③ Spot treatment hydrating pack Apply generously on dry or sensitive areas (sides of nose, chin, cheeks), leave for 5-10 minutes, then gently pat for instant hydration. No need to tissue off - it absorbs naturally. ④ Works on body too Its strong cooling effect and light texture make it great for soothing hot areas like neck, collarbone, elbows, and back. Can be used as an emergency treatment for heat rash or sunburn in summer. ⑤ Post-shave care Apply to skin that's irritated or red after shaving for simultaneous soothing and moisturizing effects. Highly recommended for men's skincare routines.
