It's gentle yet deep-cleansing, seeming to blend the benefits of both mildly acidic and alkaline products! It's such an innovative product that I'm absolutely in love with it. I was slightly concerned about whether it would cleanse well enough... But so far, I haven't had any blemishes and I'm using it successfully. Highly recommend using it with a foam maker! It becomes wonderfully rich and creamy. - dk*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 11, 2025
Illiyoon's new face cleanser! As someone who has been using the original Illiyoon Water Foam for almost 3 years since its launch, I bought this with high expectations! I heard through other platforms that the original Water Foam is being discontinued. So I was a bit worried if this could be a good replacement. But those worries were unfounded - it's so much better! Illiyoon has done it again! First, the scent, which was the biggest drawback of the original Water Foam. It had a distinct soap or detergent-like smell that could make you cough if you accidentally inhaled it while cleansing. But that smell is completely gone! In my opinion, it's now almost unscented! And the moisturizing effect that I loved most! I liked how the original Water Foam left my skin feeling hydrated without any tightness after cleansing. But this product, oh my goodness, it's even more hydrating than the Water Foam... Should I say it's hydrating plus velvety smooth? It leaves my skin feeling much softer after cleansing than the original Water Foam, so I'm much more satisfied! Also, I found out that the Gentle Deep Cleanser is mildly acidic. I was curious about what 'mildly acidic' meant and how it differed from 'slightly acidic', so I looked it up. Apparently, mildly acidic is even closer to the skin's healthy pH than slightly acidic. Illiyoon and Amore Pacific should promote this more! Anyway, its cleansing effectiveness is as good as the original Water Foam, and although I haven't been able to confirm it myself since I haven't had it for long, it's said to even combat acne-causing bacteria! As my skin has been acting up due to the changing seasons, I have high hopes for this aspect too! The fact that I'm writing such a long review for a product I bought with my own money... I can't really think of any drawbacks yet! I'll add them if I find any! Rather than lathering it up right away, it seems better to massage it onto a dry face first, then gradually add water to create a lather! - hy*****Combination SkinSensitive SkinRednessRecommendedApr 9, 2025
1. The deep cleansing effect is excellent at thoroughly removing impurities from pores! It's especially effective in cleansing areas prone to sebum and dead skin cells buildup, like the sides of the nose and jawline, leaving your skin feeling much cleaner after washing. 2. The rich foam is gentle on the skin, making it suitable for use even on sensitive days without causing irritation. 3. It leaves your skin feeling moisturized rather than dry after cleansing, making it perfect as a daily cleanser! 1. Due to its deep cleansing properties, frequent use may dry out the skin, so it's best to use it 2-3 times a week. 2. If your skin feels slightly tight after cleansing, it's advisable to quickly apply a moisturizer. 3. For heavy makeup, double cleansing might be necessary, so using this product alone may not be sufficient. 1. Using a foam net or foam brush can create a richer, creamier lather for a gentler cleansing experience! 2. For enhanced effectiveness in managing blackheads and dead skin cells, try massaging the cleanser on your face for about 30 seconds.
