They seem to really help reduce that deep dryness feeling in the skin. The iRecipe Cica PDRN Blemish Clear Serum looks almost like a moisturizer with its white, semi-transparent formula. I thought it would apply thickly, but surprisingly, it goes on quite lightly. While watery formulas can absorb quickly and sometimes leave skin feeling dry, this serum has some weight to it but still applies smoothly, creating a hydrating barrier on the skin. My first impression? Hydration, hydration, hydration! You can really feel the moisture. The cool scent adds to the experience too. Although I'm usually sensitive to fragrances, this one only lingers during application and disappears quickly, so it wasn't bothersome at all.
ConsThe serum has a very moisturizing feel and a slippery texture, so it doesn't absorb instantly. You'll need to control the amount you use and pat it in to help it absorb. However, even if you don't focus too much on the application process, it doesn't pill or feel like it's sitting on top of the skin when you layer other products over it. Just keep in mind that if you don't pat it in thoroughly, you might notice some oiliness coming through later. I made sure to take my time with the absorption process. As you might expect from a product with "Cica" in the name, I experienced no blemishes at all. The high hydration content gave a soothing effect.
TipThe amount dispensed with one pump is quite small. At first, I used three or four pumps like I would with other products, but that left my skin feeling damp and slow to absorb. Two pumps seem to be just right. Even a small amount provides plenty of hydration, but if you feel you need more, it's better to apply multiple thin layers rather than one thick one. This product seems suitable for all skin types.

There's a subtle cica scent, and it forms a water-like barrier immediately after application. Over time, it becomes more hydrating and absorbs naturally into the skin. *Recommended skin types: I'd suggest this for those with redness, sensitive skin, dry skin, or combination dehydrated skin. The day after applying, I noticed the reddish areas in the photo had significantly faded, and my skin visibly improved. My skin is extremely sensitive, and in summer I'm particularly photosensitive, so my redness tends to fluctuate, making it difficult to show consistent before-and-after photos. Currently, I'm applying my prescription medication, and once it dries, I frequently use the iRecipe Cica PDRN Blemish Clear Serum. It's even recommended by ChatGPT!
ConsThose who dislike a slightly slick texture might not find it suitable. However, it's only like that initially - it becomes more hydrating as it absorbs.
TipI pump it directly onto my face and apply it with a rolling motion. It's my strategy to minimize using the back of my hand as an intermediary step.

ConsIt feels a bit slippery and doesn't absorb well, so I had to wait a few minutes for it to dry.
