I could use it comfortably even during summer months. Gentle enough for sensitive days Thanks to its cica ingredients, it was mild and didn't cause any tingling sensation, even when my skin was feeling sensitive. It seemed to calm my skin without irritating blemishes. Effective for recent redness While it may not dramatically improve old acne scars, I noticed it was particularly effective in soothing the redness of newly formed blemishes. After using it consistently for about a week, my complexion appeared slightly more even. PDRN aids skin recovery The combination of cica and PDRN seemed to help restore the skin barrier. It balanced my skin without leaving an oily residue, addressing deep dryness to some extent.
ConsLimited effect on severe blemishes or pigmentation Unfortunately, it doesn't show significant results for intense breakouts or dark spots. Not for dramatic improvement It's better suited for calming initial redness rather than expecting dramatic improvements in skin texture. Moderate hydration The hydration level is relatively low, so if used alone, it might cause tightness in dry areas. It's best to layer it with a light moisturizer or hydrating serum.
TipFor enhanced effectiveness in calming redness, try spot-treating affected areas by applying an extra layer as the final step in your skincare routine. It works well as a targeted treatment serum. For longer-lasting and more focused care, consider applying it primarily to areas prone to blemishes, such as cheeks, chin, and forehead, rather than all over the face.

Its gel-like texture is packed with hydration and absorbs quickly, making it suitable for both oily and dry skin types. I highly recommend this to anyone looking to rapidly improve irritated, reddened skin. I loved the lightweight gel consistency that's perfect for use even during summer months without feeling heavy!
ConsWhile it's certainly effective for soothing pigmentation and reducing redness quickly, you may need to use it more consistently to see improvements in fine lines and skin barrier function.
TipFor best results, use the serum immediately after cleansing and toning to prep your skin. When your skin is properly prepped, the serum absorbs much better and becomes more effective! Try storing it in the refrigerator - the cooling effect when applied is great for reducing heat and inflammation, especially during summer!

It seems excellent for immediate hydration. I found it worked great when used after opening up the skin's moisture pathways with toner.
ConsI can't see any special effects. Lately, I've been getting a lot of comedonal acne, so I visited a dermatologist and spa. They said it was due to dehydrated skin. Since I heard this feedback after using this product, I realized it doesn't seem to provide deep hydration or absorption into the skin as much as I thought. Also, I used to only get blemishes on my forehead and chin. But after using this product, acne spread to near my ears and under my cheekbones. I'm surprised, as it's not supposed to be an irritating product.
TipWhen dealing with combination dehydrated skin, it's crucial to find products that balance oil and moisture effectively. While this product may work for some, it's important to patch test and monitor your skin's reaction, especially if you have super sensitive skin prone to redness or allergic reactions. Remember, what works for one person may not work for another, so listen to your skin and adjust your skincare routine accordingly.

The packaging is lovely It has a perfect summery feel - lightweight yet sturdy, which I appreciate. Especially with pump bottles, it can be frustrating when they don't work properly, but this one dispenses smoothly every time. 2. It's wonderfully hydrating As a busy parent, I often only have time to apply one product quickly. This serum provides ample hydration even when I'm in a rush. I suppose that's the nature of serums, right? It spreads easily without being runny, making application a breeze. The fast absorption is perfect for those hurried moments. 3. Rather than targeting blemishes, it seems to have a more noticeable effect on firming the skin and improving wrinkles. Lately, my skin has been feeling a bit saggy due to the heat, but when I apply this right after cleansing, there's an instant lifting sensation. It's like you can feel it working!
ConsIt might be a bit too drying for those with very dry skin. The scent could be polarizing. It has a summery fragrance that isn't unpleasant, but it's not my favorite either. The finish feels slightly... not sticky, but more like a squeaky clean feeling? It's hard to describe. It's similar to how your skin feels after using a cucumber pack or aloe soothing gel - that kind of sensation. It might make your skin feel a bit heavy, though that could be due to the summer heat or just my perception. While I was completely satisfied overall, I did experience some small blemishes popping up, which is why I deducted one star.

ConsThose with dry skin should try something else. The fresh finish feels quite drying

When applied to blemish marks, it quickly calmed redness. My complexion became more even, and pigmentation slightly faded. It absorbs well with no sticky feeling, and I could use it even on sensitive days without irritation.
ConsFor existing sun spots or long-standing pigmentation, noticeable changes will take more time. As I have combination dehydrated skin, it lacked hydration when used alone, so I paired it with a rich moisturizer.
TipMidway through testing, I layered it with a vitamin ampoule, which made my skin look even clearer.

While it feels slightly elastic at first, it quickly absorbs into the skin, leaving no sticky residue. Its excellent absorption means it sinks in rapidly with just a few gentle pats, without sitting on the surface. This makes it ideal for layering with other products. In my experience, its skin-soothing effect is phenomenal. I accidentally applied it to an area where I had squeezed a pimple, and it provided a cooling, calming sensation. Formulation The serum has a translucent gel-like consistency that's firm enough not to run, making it easy to dispense small amounts with the dropper. It's virtually fragrance-free, making it suitable for those with sensitive skin. The dropper bottle design allows for hygienic use and easy control of the amount. Though I found myself using more than usual on red, freshly-squeezed blemish areas for quicker soothing effects! Recommended Skin Types With its quick absorption and non-sticky finish, this serum is perfect for oily skin types as it doesn't leave any greasy residue. It's also great for sensitive skin, as the cica ingredients are gentle enough for use on blemish-prone areas. The PDRN component aids in skin regeneration and blemish care, making it ideal for addressing redness and uneven skin tone.
ConsRoom for Improvement One drawback I noticed is that the most noticeable effects occur when applied to blemishes that have fully drained and started healing. When used on unextracted blemishes, the results were less impressive. However, this is probably an unrealistic expectation for a blemish serum. Just remember, it's most effective when used on healing blemishes to reduce redness and scarring.
TipWhen your blemishes are just starting to heal, apply this serum generously. In my experience, it significantly speeds up the fading process. The key is to use it liberally at the right time and allow it to absorb fully!

My face is very dry, so in winter I really struggle with deep dryness. That's why I tried this serum, as it's supposed to be good for dry skin. It's a gel type, but it doesn't feel heavy and absorbs quickly. I liked that it doesn't linger on the skin for too long, so you can easily layer other products like moisturizers over it. While I can't speak to its effectiveness on blemishes, I've seen reviews saying it helps fade marks, so it seems to have good regenerative properties as well.
ConsThe downside is that while you'll likely apply a separate moisturizer anyway, this serum alone doesn't provide enough hydration. You'll definitely need to follow up with a second layer of moisture. Also, because it's quite hydrating, it might not be suitable for those with oily skin.
TipBeing a gel formula that absorbs quickly, I think it's more suited for summer use. I'd recommend keeping it in the refrigerator and applying it cool for a refreshing effect.

It's perfect for hot summer days when hair sticking to your face can be extremely unpleasant - the finish is so fresh and clean! While it does help with soothing, I wouldn't say it offers extraordinary calming effects compared to other soothing serums. However, perhaps thanks to the PDRN, it's amazingly effective at improving skin texture. As someone with slightly dry skin, I found it a bit too light to use on its own, but I think it'll be perfect for the peak of summer when it gets even hotter. Men who dislike any residue on their skin and those with very oily skin types will absolutely love this product.
ConsI wish it provided a bit more hydration - it would have been perfect for my skin type. Because it's so lightweight, I find myself using it frequently and going through it quickly.
TipFor best results, apply your toner, then generously apply this product to your cheeks and forehead. Place a toner pad over it for a quick toner pack. Your skin will feel incredibly smooth and your complexion will look noticeably improved.

Recently, I've been breaking out a lot, and after popping the pimples, I was left with many blemish marks. That's why I applied for this product and was lucky enough to be selected to try it out. *Texture/Application I was worried this product might be sticky or greasy because it contains PDRN, but I was pleasantly surprised. The texture itself is like a lightweight gel that doesn't drip when squeezed out. Although it has a slight viscosity, it absorbs well when applied to the skin. My skin tends to feel dry, but I don't like products that leave a residue. Thankfully, this one absorbs completely without leaving any sticky feeling! It also didn't cause any pilling when I applied makeup over it. *Effectiveness To be honest, it's hard to say definitively that this product improved my blemish marks. After using it for two weeks, I'm not sure if the improvement is due to time passing or the product's effectiveness. If the marks had faded faster, I might have attributed it to the product, but that doesn't seem to be the case. Despite this, I still gave it 4 stars because it didn't cause any blemishes on my acne-prone skin, provided light hydration, and seems perfect for summer use. I think I'll get a lot of use out of this ampoule in the warmer months!
ConsThe fragrance is really disappointing. I can't quite describe it, but it's an artificial cosmetic scent that's stronger than any product I've used recently. I checked the ingredients and saw that it contains fragrance. As someone who prefers fragrance-free products, this aspect is a bit of a letdown.
