I'm so satisfied with this product that I don't have any particular complaints.

I have an oily scalp but dry hair, with long hair that's been heat-permed to create curls.

🌵Scalp Condition
My scalp used to be so healthy that I could use any shampoo without issues. However, after getting both a root perm and a setting perm, possibly due to the incompatibility of the perm solution and heat, I struggled with seborrheic dermatitis for a long time. Even frequent dermatologist visits only provided temporary relief. Finding suitable hair products became incredibly challenging, as my sensitive, seborrheic scalp would immediately become red and develop blemishes if I didn't use gentle products.

After shampooing and conditioning, my hair becomes extremely dry. It's so dry that I need to apply about ten pumps of hair oil - that's how severely dry my hair is!

The shampoo has a transparent, slightly runny consistency with low viscosity.

I'm satisfied with this shampoo because it creates firm, long-lasting bubbles that allow for a thorough massage. With some shampoos, the lather dies quickly, forcing me to use more product, but that's not the case here.

It rinses out well. My scalp and hair don't feel slippery after rinsing, just refreshed.

As someone with an oily scalp, the time it takes for sebum to build up after washing is crucial for me. This shampoo cleanses so thoroughly that even when I wash at night, my scalp still feels fresh the next morning - no need for another wash. This has made it one of my favorite shampoos.
Usually, seborrheic dermatitis shampoos leave my hair feeling very stiff, but this one doesn't make it as stiff as I expected.

My previous shampoo was 1,296 won per 10ml, so around 900 won per 10ml is... well... But 900 won range isn't exactly cheap either, so it's debatable.

+If there's not enough water, it won't lather, leading to waste. I recommend adding a little water intermittently while massaging it in.

Hair becomes extremely stiff. Even using conditioner and treatment can't manage it (currently using salon treatments).
When drying, combing with fingers feels like a broom due to stiffness. Severe tangling. Even applying lots of essence, it's stiff again by the next day...

As someone with dry, seborrheic skin, I used to go 4-5 days without washing my hair in middle school without any odor - just the lingering scent of shampoo. Not sure where those overactive sebaceous glands went. My whole body is like this... I get itchy when dry due to xerotic eczema.
So far, I've tried washing every 36 hours or so - morning of day 1, evening of day 2, and so on.

I have dry skin but no dandruff. My scalp looks reddish in photos and feels warm. I have thick, curly hair with lots of volume.

To ensure it works on my scalp, I leave it on for about a minute before rinsing it out.

1. (Size) Currently, it's only available in one size (350ml). Since shampoo is used daily, I wish it came in a larger volume as well.
2. (Price) Considering the price-to-volume ratio, it's not exactly cheap, which can be a barrier to purchase. That said, given the price, you expect results, and fortunately, it lives up to those expectations.
3. (Color) While opinions may vary depending on personal taste, I personally don't love the color, so I've listed it as a downside.

3. (Cleansing effectiveness) It lathers well and effectively controls scalp oil. However, it doesn't make my hair excessively stiff, so I'm using it with satisfaction.

The downside is the scent, which isn't great, and the price... The value for money isn't the best, so it feels a bit extravagant for everyday use.

First off, isn't the packaging absolutely gorgeous? When it comes to shampoos for seborrheic dermatitis, they're usually so unattractive that I lose the will to use them. But this one? The packaging is so pretty, it actually puts me in a great mood when I use it! I was amazed at how well it lathers. I've tried many shampoos that claim to lather well, but this one truly excels, making it easy to use and economical too. The scent isn't a floral fragrance, more like a medicinal shampoo smell, which might be hit or miss for some. But hey, that's not why we're using this shampoo, right? The best part? My hair doesn't get greasy until the next evening, and it doesn't become overly stiff either. It's absolutely fantastic - highly recommended!

If you use the conditioner, scaler, and spot gel from the same line that was released alongside this shampoo, you might see even better results.

The biggest downside is the price!!

I had a great experience with Dr. Groot hair products before, so when they released a shampoo specifically for seborrheic dermatitis, I decided to give it a try.

✅ User experience:
- Lathers well with a small amount; foam is light and fine-textured
- Scent: Cool, subtle herbal fragrance
- Provides a cooling effect during and after use (really cools down the scalp and reduces heat)
- Leaves hair feeling squeaky clean while washing, with a slightly firm texture (but doesn't make hair feel damaged)
- Hair dries much faster compared to other shampoos
- Excellent for improving oiliness, flaking, and itching
Effects are immediate (usually my scalp would itch even after washing, but with this shampoo, there's no itching, existing blemishes subsided, and flaking reduced)

I hope consistent use will help my scalp become healthy soon! I'm really satisfied with how it feels to use.
