Cleansing effectiveness is top-notch! Seems like a great choice for oily and seborrheic scalps. No itchy scalp the next day. Even for dry seborrheic scalps, it's good for up to 36 hours. As someone with dry seborrheic skin, I used to have sebaceous glands that allowed me to go 4-5 days without washing my hair in middle school - no odor, just shampoo scent. Now my scalp's completely different. My whole body's like that... I get itchy when dry - xerotic eczema. I've tried washing every 36 hours - shampoo in the morning of day 1, then evening of day 2. Just out of laziness... Usually, I wash every evening. I have dry skin but no dandruff. My scalp looks reddish in photos and feels warm. Thick, curly hair with lots of volume. Dermatologist diagnosed me with seborrheic dermatitis. Me: Why do I have this if I have dry skin? Doctor: Because it's dry, these issues tend to worsen. Me: Ah, I see. My hair becomes extremely stiff. Even conditioner and treatment can't manage it (I use salon treatments). When drying, combing feels like using a broom - it's so stiff and tangles severely. Even applying lots of essence, it's stiff again the next day... Not sure if it's just me because I have dry skin or if others experience this too. It doesn't lather well! So I just use a foam maker to create lather and pour it over. Using Daiso Rinoia cream pack essence (pink tube) as a conditioner makes it a bit softer. But by the next day, it's dry again... The price is both a pro and a con...?? (It's ambiguous) My previous shampoo was 1,296 won per 10ml, so around 900 won per 10ml is... well... But even 900 won range isn't cheap, so it's hard to say... - pu**********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2025
1. (Effectiveness) I was stressed due to chronic seborrheic dermatitis, but this product has definitely improved my condition. My scalp concerns have almost disappeared! 2. (Scent) It has a slightly sweet fragrance, but once you rinse it out, the lingering scent isn't too strong. You can tell they aimed for mass appeal. It seems like a scent that won't be affected by seasons and won't be polarizing. 3. (Cleansing effectiveness) It lathers well and effectively controls scalp oil. However, it doesn't make my hair excessively stiff, so I'm using it with satisfaction. 1. (Size) Currently, it's only available in one size (350ml). Since shampoo is used daily, I wish it came in a larger volume as well. 2. (Price) Considering the price-to-volume ratio, it's not exactly cheap, which can be a barrier to purchase. That said, given the price, you expect results, and fortunately, it lives up to those expectations. 3. (Color) While opinions may vary depending on personal taste, I personally don't love the color, so I've listed it as a downside. To ensure it works on my scalp, I leave it on for about a minute before rinsing it out. - rk**********Combination SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsDark CirclesEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedApr 25, 2025
First off, isn't the packaging absolutely gorgeous? When it comes to shampoos for seborrheic dermatitis, they're usually so unattractive that I lose the will to use them. But this one? The packaging is so pretty, it actually puts me in a great mood when I use it! I was amazed at how well it lathers. I've tried many shampoos that claim to lather well, but this one truly excels, making it easy to use and economical too. The scent isn't a floral fragrance, more like a medicinal shampoo smell, which might be hit or miss for some. But hey, that's not why we're using this shampoo, right? The best part? My hair doesn't get greasy until the next evening, and it doesn't become overly stiff either. It's absolutely fantastic - highly recommended! The downside is the scent, which isn't great, and the price... The value for money isn't the best, so it feels a bit extravagant for everyday use. - tj*******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedApr 22, 2025
⚠️ Warning: Scalp photos ahead (sensitive viewers, please proceed with caution) ⚠️ ✅ Why I bought it: I've always had an oily scalp, but recently it's become more sensitive. Even after washing, my scalp would itch, and the slightest irritation would cause flaking and increased oiliness. It was stressful until I realized these symptoms indicated seborrheic dermatitis. I had a great experience with Dr. Groot hair products before, so when they released a shampoo specifically for seborrheic dermatitis, I decided to give it a try. ✅ User experience: - Lathers well with a small amount; foam is light and fine-textured - Scent: Cool, subtle herbal fragrance - Provides a cooling effect during and after use (really cools down the scalp and reduces heat) - Leaves hair feeling squeaky clean while washing, with a slightly firm texture (but doesn't make hair feel damaged) - Hair dries much faster compared to other shampoos - Excellent for improving oiliness, flaking, and itching Effects are immediate (usually my scalp would itch even after washing, but with this shampoo, there's no itching, existing blemishes subsided, and flaking reduced) I hope consistent use will help my scalp become healthy soon! I'm really satisfied with how it feels to use. I think using the scaler, conditioner, and spot gel together would be even better. I'll try to purchase those when I get the chance! The biggest downside is the price!! The cost per volume is too burdensome ㅜㅜ Even with discounts, it's still in the 30,000 won range for 350ml. It would be great if they could offer bigger discounts... This shampoo tends to make my hair a bit frizzier compared to other shampoos. If you use the conditioner, scaler, and spot gel from the same line that was released alongside this shampoo, you might see even better results.
