It feels moisturizing with a slight richness, but it absorbs well so it doesn't feel sticky on the skin. When I apply it during the day, it makes my face quite oily, so I'm planning to avoid using it in the daytime during summer. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinJun 7, 2025
The transparent container makes it convenient to check how much product is left, which is great. It's lightweight and absorbs quickly, so I'll likely keep using it. I haven't found any notable drawbacks yet, but I'll add an update after using it consistently for about a month. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 4, 2025
The texture is incredibly watery, which means it absorbs exceptionally well. It's perfect for layering, and I found it really effective when dealing with small bumps or when my skin was acting up. It's absolutely fantastic! However, I'm not sure if it actually brightens the complexion. It's a bit confusing because there are versions with Galactomy, as well as 3.0 and 2.0 versions. Layering this product helps reduce those tiny bumps on the skin. It works hard to improve your complexion! - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 29, 2025
I've been using this product morning and evening for about two weeks now. What I'm most satisfied with is how well it absorbs. Being a water-based formula, it absorbs into the skin much faster than essence products with a runny consistency. It feels great when it quickly sinks into the face. Despite my extremely dry skin, this water-based essence didn't cause much deep dryness. I've used products that make my cheeks feel tight, but this essence, despite its light texture, keeps my skin hydrated and less prone to tightness. There aren't any downsides I've noticed yet. I haven't experienced any blemishes, and I haven't had any issues while using it. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinMay 26, 2025
I have sensitive skin with some redness and blemishes. I also experience a bit of deep dryness. The texture is somewhat watery, so it absorbs well. It's fragrance-free, which didn't cause any issues for me when using it! I used the product for about two days, but I started getting some blemishes and felt a tingling sensation, so I stopped. After letting my skin recover for about three days, I tried it again, but the same thing happened. Unfortunately, I couldn't continue using it regularly, so I didn't see any significant results. The hydration is a bit weak, so those with dry skin should definitely follow up with a cream! I applied a hydrating ampoule after letting this absorb, which helped reduce the dryness a bit. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2025
The texture lives up to expectations with excellent absorption and quick penetration. It provides just enough hydration that even those with oily skin can use it without any issues. The bottle and packaging design are sleek and minimalist, adding a touch of elegance to your vanity. While I was helping my parents during the busy farming season, I spent a lot of time in the scorching sun. Although environmental factors can't be ignored, I didn't notice any improvement in skin texture or complexion. The product has no viscosity at all and runs immediately, making it extremely inconvenient to use. It's essentially water with a hint of moisture. The dropper is also excessively long, making it awkward to handle in various ways. The reviewer mentions both positive and negative aspects of the product. They appreciate the texture, absorption, and design, but found the actual skin benefits lacking. The environmental factors (sun exposure) may have affected their experience. The watery consistency and impractical packaging design were significant drawbacks for them. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2025
May 10th - May 23rd (2 weeks of use) Skin type: Dry / Sensitive / Prone to redness This product has an incredibly watery texture, making it feel like you're simply absorbing water into your skin. It absorbs extremely quickly. Due to its ultra-lightweight consistency, unlike other serums or ampoules, you can easily layer it multiple times even in summer. This makes it suitable for all skin types, from dry to oily. Recently, my skin barrier became very weak, causing irritation and heat when using my usual skincare products. I had to keep washing them off and carefully selecting products that wouldn't cause itching. However, this product felt comfortable even on my sensitized skin. Regarding its brightening effects, it's a bit ambiguous. I haven't noticed a definite improvement in my complexion yet. However, I have noticed that the temporary brightening effect you get right after cleansing seems to last a bit longer with this product. It's like that fresh, bright look stays around for an extended period. Though my skin does eventually return to its original tone. Still, I feel like consistent use might lead to a brighter complexion, so I've started applying it to my neck as well. Due to its extremely watery texture, those with dry skin might find it lacking in both hydration and moisture. However, in summer, a product like this that absorbs well and doesn't leave any residue on the skin might actually be preferable. This product is so fluid that if you try to drop it onto your cheeks, forehead, and chin, it will immediately run down your face. You'll need to apply it in sections - squeeze some out for one cheek and apply immediately, then do the same for the other cheek, and so on. Personally, I find it easier to squeeze some into my palm, rub my hands together, and then apply it to my face. For those with dry skin, this essence alone might not be enough even in summer. It's best to layer it with other ampoules or creams as needed for optimal hydration. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2025
I was lucky enough to be selected as one of The Hwahae Testers to try this product. ✔️My skin is combination dehydrated, super sensitive, prone to redness, and occasionally breaks out. For the past few months, I've been dealing with persistent blemishes on my chin due to my menstrual cycle - just as they start to clear up, my period comes around again, and the cycle continues... Pro 1: Thanks to its watery consistency, it absorbs quickly into the skin. I sometimes use it in place of toner at night, layering it 3-4 times. Pro 2: Despite its fluid texture, it doesn't leave my skin feeling dry after absorption. Usually, lightweight formulas like this require additional moisturizer, but with this one, I don't need to apply any other essence. Pro 3: I can see a noticeable improvement in my complexion. It's not a dramatic brightening effect, but rather a subtle "my skin looks clear today" kind of glow. Pro 4: As you can see in the comparison photos, it has faded my dark spots and reduced redness. Con 1: I didn't notice any improvement in skin texture. Granted, the weather might be a factor, but I've been experiencing more oil production on my cheeks and chin than usual, which I can feel when washing my face or applying skincare. Con 2: I haven't seen any reduction in the appearance of my pores. Both of these drawbacks might be due to the short period of use - it's been less than a month, which may not be enough time to see significant results. I have a feeling that with continued use, I might see more positive changes. - Hwahae UserDry SkinAtopy SkinSensitive SkinMay 23, 2025
This essence has a water-like consistency with no stickiness at all. It absorbs quickly, leaving a thin, protective layer on the skin that provides hydration. It's easy to incorporate into your existing skincare routine without any issues! If I had to nitpick, The price point in the 30,000 won range feels a bit steep, especially considering the many budget-friendly essences available these days. I keep it in the bathroom and apply it right after cleansing. It gives that extra boost of hydration that my regular skincare products were slightly lacking. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinMay 23, 2025
I've tried the previous version too, and the overall feel seems pretty similar. It has a very watery, lightweight texture that absorbs quickly into the skin. But don't worry, it doesn't leave your skin feeling dry at all. Rather than a whitening effect, it gives more of a brightened complexion look. While the glass bottle does give it a luxurious feel, I can't help but think it's probably driving up the price. Compared to Manyo Factory's earlier products, this one feels like it's in a higher price range. The new formula maintains the quick-absorbing, hydrating qualities of its predecessor. It's ideal for those looking to even out their skin tone and achieve that coveted Inner Glow without the heaviness often associated with brightening products. However, the premium packaging might be reflected in the higher price point, which could be a consideration for budget-conscious skincare enthusiasts.
