As someone with sensitive combination dehydrated skin, this product worked wonderfully without causing any irritation. It was particularly effective in soothing my skin when it felt sensitive or dry, and I could definitely feel it addressing my deep dryness to some extent. Since my U-zone is oily, I applied only a small amount there to avoid feeling too rich. For drier areas like my T-zone, I applied it generously and paired it with other hydrating products, which worked much better. The product itself has a slightly rich texture, but that's actually a plus for dry areas! ✔️ Effects: Soothing: Quickly calms irritated skin. Hydration: Long-lasting moisture, improves deep dryness. Skin recovery: Blemish marks and sensitive areas seem to heal faster. Strengthens skin barrier: After a few days, skin appears less sensitive and more stable overall. Most importantly, when applying multiple serums and a moisturizer before foundation, makeup can sometimes become heavy and pill. However, this product doesn't cause that issue - it absorbs well and creates a great base for makeup! The size is too small! Also, if you have very oily skin, it might feel a bit rich when applied. I avoided applying it to areas with excess oil and focused on the drier parts of my face.

PDRN stands for Polydeoxyribonucleotide, a component extracted from salmon or trout sperm DNA. It's about 95% similar to human DNA, making it stable when applied to skin. It stimulates cytokine secretion, promoting cell regeneration, tissue repair, and collagen production. It's used in skin rejuvenation injections and high-performance ampoules. However, traditional PDRN is animal-derived, which isn't suitable for sensitive, allergic, or vegan consumers. To address this, plant-based PDRN or 'Phyto-DNA Complex' has been developed to provide similar skin regeneration benefits. This product falls into that category. (Note: The industry is still observing and researching the effectiveness of plant-based PDRN compared to animal-derived PDRN, as it hasn't undergone as extensive clinical testing.) A well-known product featuring plant-based PDRN is ISOI's Brightening Rose Serum, which uses plant DNA extracted from roses. The gel-like texture adheres smoothly to the skin. After using the product twice daily, I haven't noticed significant pigmentation improvement yet, but it's definitely effective for deep dryness. You'll likely feel your skin becoming more supple after two weeks of use. If you want to experience increased skin volume, consider stocking up during a Hwahae sale! As a 'non-comedogenic' product without pore-clogging ingredients, it's particularly beneficial for acne-prone or oily skin types. I was going to deduct a star for the original price considering the volume and concentration, but the composition has changed. With the current 50ml at a discounted price, there shouldn't be any drawbacks. On hot days like these, I've found a great makeup routine: toner > (this product) > Jung Saem Mool water cream > sunscreen > cushion foundation. The combination works beautifully for a long-lasting makeup look. In the evening, I use this with EGF + retinal 3 times a week + an animal-derived PDRN cream (helpful for aging skin, but too heavy for daytime use). The synergy is definitely noticeable!

After using the product for about two weeks, I've written an honest review! Scent - I have a really keen sense of smell, and this is almost unscented. When you first apply it, there's a slight whiff of fragrance, but it disappears quickly. It's perfect for those who are sensitive to cosmetic scents! Texture and application - It feels more rich than hydrating, with a slightly sticky feeling as it absorbs into the skin, revealing its moisturizing properties. The application is wonderfully smooth, but those who dislike any stickiness on their skin might find it just on the edge of being uncomfortable. However, if you layer a moisturizer on top, you won't feel a thing! I have slightly dry skin and I'm still in my 20s, so I'm prone to blemishes. Although it's a serum, I wanted to check its oil and moisture content. So for a few days, I only used a toner to prep my skin, then applied this serum before bed. First off, the texture is incredibly silky and smooth. There's absolutely no stickiness, and it absorbs well into the skin. However, it's not particularly rich, so it might be more suitable for normal to oily skin types rather than dry skin. What really impressed me was not just how well it applies, but how it transformed my skin texture. I have large pores and uneven skin, but suddenly it was like they disappeared. It's as if my skin texture was filled in, if that makes sense? The improvement in skin texture is absolutely amazing. Over the nearly two weeks of use, I didn't experience any blemishes at all. Sometimes when I use products that don't agree with my skin, I get a slight itching or tingling sensation, but I didn't feel anything like that with this. Perhaps due to its soothing effect, my skin feels comfortable after application. As someone sensitive to fragranced products, I appreciated that this is unscented. One downside is that the volume is a bit small. To apply generously up to my neck, I need to pump it four times, which makes me doubt it would last a full month. I wish it was either a bit more affordable or came in a larger size. I found that layering it twice seems to work even better.
