It's slightly sticky and not the lightest product, so depending on your skin type, some might find it a bit heavy for summer use. The texture is thicker than the Dive-In Serum, and it's nearly fragrance-free.
ConsOne-line summary: Immediate itching after use, followed by rapid appearance of numerous blemishes including whiteheads. Recently, when I used Torriden's Dive-In Hyaluronic Acid Toner, I felt an itchy, tingling sensation (like tiny insects landing on my face) in specific areas as soon as I applied it. I stopped using it after 3-4 times (the symptoms disappeared after discontinuing use). This Balanceful Control Serum is a renewed version of their original soothing serum. The ingredients are quite different from the Torriden toner, so I decided to give it a try. To cut to the chase, it was even worse than the Torriden toner. Just like with the Dive-In Hyaluronic Acid Toner, within 5-10 minutes of application, I felt an itchy, tingling reaction. After about 4-5 hours, whiteheads that weren't there before started spreading, mainly on my forehead. Suddenly, whiteheads appeared on my cheeks and temples too. Not only whiteheads, but my skin also became blotchy in places, and it seems like folliculitis was developing as well. This product also contains hyaluronic acid, like the toner. I'm not sure if I have a hyaluronic acid allergy, but personally, I don't think I can use this. Apart from the blemishes and allergic reaction, I couldn't notice any soothing effects either.
TipThe ingredients are supposed to be great, so why do I react this way only to Torriden products?
