I've heard it called a budget-friendly version of Shu Uemura, and its cleansing effectiveness truly lives up to that reputation. It removes eyeliner and mascara in one go! As I continued using it, it became too oily, if I can put it that way. It felt excessively rich on my skin and even caused breakouts. I'm not sure if it's because I have super sensitive skin, but for now, I've stopped using it altogether. When you sign up as a member, they give you a free ampoule, which I thought was a nice touch. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJun 16, 2016
I have skin that's prone to breakouts, but this product not only calms existing blemishes but also leaves my skin feeling clean and looking brighter after cleansing. It removes makeup really well, though occasionally waterproof eyeliner might need a second cleanse with foam cleanser to be completely gone. I find oil cleansers work better for me than gel types, and this one suits me best! The price is reasonable too, so I've even recommended it to my sister! The scent might be off-putting at first, and some people might dislike it. I'm just thinking, 'Let's endure it for better skin!' They say it's a floral scent, and after using it for a while, I can kind of see that... Just use it. It's incredibly good! - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinJan 26, 2016
It removes makeup effectively. This oil cleanser is a safe choice for It's Skin fans, suitable for everyday use. It's too slippery. Plus, the scent is unpleasant - it has a rubbery smell. The Green Tea Calming Oil Cleanser feels much fresher and cleaner in comparison. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 21, 2015
I absolutely adore you, my dear oil... I bought this as a cheaper alternative to Shu*mura, though I've never tried Shu*mura myself. But honestly, you might not even need to bother with the pricier option. This oil lacks that typical thick, heavy feeling. It glides on as light as water, yet its cleansing power is simply magical... ♥ Even after rinsing and using toner, there's nothing left on the cotton pad - it's that thorough! It even tackles mascara with ease; just massage it a bit longer and it all comes off!!! This isn't unique to this product, but it stings if it gets in your eyes. Since I can't find any other cons, I guess I'll mention the stinging... Make sure to emulsify and rinse thoroughly. Otherwise, you might risk a blemish explosion! - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinApr 18, 2015
I picked this up at Homeplus for just 10000 won. It removes makeup effectively and I'm really pleased with it. It's a great bargain and seems to work well. No blemishes either! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinFeb 16, 2015
It removes makeup incredibly well! You don't even need a separate eye makeup remover - it wipes everything clean without leaving any residue. The sale discounts tend to be on the smaller side, and there aren't many physical stores around, unfortunately. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinJan 24, 2015
As someone with combination skin, I started using cleansing oil for sebum control, and this product seems just right and effective. I used to use Clean & Clear oil before, but it left my skin feeling too squeaky clean and tight. This one, however, doesn't leave that overly clean feeling - it's just perfect. It's great to use this for the first cleanse, followed by a cleansing foam for the second step. It removes eye and lip makeup really well too! There wasn't anything particularly bad... It didn't cause any blemishes, and I just like it overall. However, I wouldn't really recommend it to those who prefer that squeaky clean feeling after cleansing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinJan 21, 2015
The finish feels fresh and not oily. It's great for light application. While it effectively removes face makeup, it struggles with eye makeup. The watery consistency means the quantity feels small. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSep 17, 2014
The appearance is similar to Shu Uemura, and the ingredients are comparable too. However, the price is several times cheaper! I received multiple sample sheets, and from the first use, it instantly became one of my top 3 cleansing oils. So I immediately went to repurchase it. It emulsifies well, and I'm satisfied even just rinsing with water. If you follow up with a foam cleanser, it's perfect! It's Skin often has sales, but this product doesn't get discounted as much. Even on sale, it's a bit over $10, but it's worth every penny! For first-time use, apply it to your face, gently massage, then add a bit of lukewarm water to emulsify before rinsing off. It's also great to follow up with a foam cleanser for a double cleanse. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinMay 8, 2014
It's absolutely amazing. For real. It removes everything - eyeliner, mascara, the works. No stinging in the eyes either. I even used it to clean under my eyes. When I was using this, there was literally nothing left on my skin after removing my makeup. The discount... could be a bit better... Also, there aren't many stores around. Since the Anyang branch closed, I haven't been able to use it. When the Anyang store was still open, I tried a sample and fell head over heels for it. I think I went through about two bottles. Honestly, I'm the type who lives for trying new products and rarely repurchases anything, but this one is truly legendary.
