This product saved my skin! It's incredibly helpful for hydrating and soothing dry skin, relieving itchiness caused by dryness, and reducing skin heat sensitivity. I was already familiar with this product, so I bought it during an Olive Young sale. After misusing retinol, my skin had the worst reaction I've ever experienced in my life. I was shocked and devastated. My skin was cracking, flaking everywhere, becoming bumpy, and I was dealing with extreme dryness, stinging, itching, and a burning sensation. I'm really passionate about skincare and have tried many products. I probably have over 20 basic skincare items on my vanity right now. So this skin condition was even more shocking for me, as I'd never encountered it before. Since I have sensitive skin, I always check ingredients on Hwahae and only use gentle products without harmful or allergy-triggering ingredients. But even after applying all those products, my skin was still stinging and itching for about two days. However, the Avène mist was the only thing that didn't sting or irritate my skin! I spent a weekend at home, spraying the Avène mist like a madwoman whenever my skin felt dry. Miraculously, it calmed down in just one day! I even said goodbye to the enlarged pores on my cheeks that appeared due to the retinol side effects. I'm so relieved! I noticed on the back of the product that it helps with hydrating and soothing dry skin, relieving itchiness caused by dryness, and reducing heat sensitivity. It was exactly what I needed! Thank you so much for creating this product. It would be perfect if it provided just a tiny bit more hydration, but even this level isn't really lacking.
