  It had a cool, refreshing feel. Not too oily and not overwhelming for blemish-prone combination skin. Fortunately, it didn't trigger any new blemishes.

  Cons

  The hydration is short-lived - maybe because it's winter - my face feels tight after just a few minutes. Without applying a hydrating serum or cream, my skin feels extremely dry. I bought this from duty-free as it was recommended for blemish-prone skin, but I won't repurchase. While it doesn't seem to cause issues, so I'll use up what I have, it's quite pricey for the minimal effects it offers. It doesn't really tackle blemishes or soothe the skin, and it can pill if not applied correctly.

  Pros

  After cleansing, it's great how my face quickly becomes soft and smooth, and this feeling lasts for a while. Being an emulsion, it absorbs well when applied, and the container design makes it easy to control the amount. It doesn't cause any blemishes on my skin.

  Cons

  I'd prefer to avoid parabens if possible, but this contains two types. When applied, it feels excessively matte, to the point where it seems more like it's stripping away existing moisture rather than moisturizing. There's also some pilling.

  Tip

  Applying it when the skin is still slightly damp seems to make it more hydrating and less prone to pilling.

  Pros

  I had severe blemishes with oily, dehydrated skin, but after using the Blue Herbal line, especially this moisturizer, I noticed fewer small bumps and less frequent breakouts. The difference is really noticeable when I skip using it! I might forget other products, but I never miss applying this and sunscreen.

  Cons

  It's relatively expensive compared to budget options. Also, the scent isn't particularly pleasant in my opinion!

  Pros

  When applied, it gives a refreshing tingle and leaves an incredibly fresh feeling. After using this, I hardly got any blemishes! It's a product that's easy to apply anytime, and I use it often because I love that tingling sensation.

  Cons

  When you apply makeup over this, it pills severely, like the makeup is coming off! The hydration doesn't last long, and it absorbs almost completely within 2-3 minutes, causing dryness that makes makeup look patchy or not adhere well. It's disappointing that it doesn't perform as well as its price suggests, so I use it often but not daily. You'd be better off choosing a different, more effective product than this one.

  Before using, if you mix it with other products that have more oil or moisture content, it won't feel dry or tight. If you experience pilling when applying base makeup over this, try patting it on instead of rubbing. While this may reduce pilling, it can still come off easily, so make sure to finish with powder for the best results!

For those experiencing pilling after applying toner, try patting it into your skin to absorb, then apply the emulsion. That should help improve the situation.

  It's way too strong. It feels like my face is cracking. If you use this in winter, it's a death sentence for your skin.
