As someone with oily skin and blemish concerns, this worked well for me. After applying, my skin felt less greasy and there was a slight tingling sensation, which made me feel like it was actively treating my blemishes. This cream would be fantastic for those with oily skin. It's quite dry when used alone, so I recommend mixing a small amount with your regular moisturizer for the best results. Kiehl's recommended this product for acne-prone skin, but as soon as I applied it, the areas around my eyes and mouth started burning intensely. My skin turned bright red and it was really painful. It has a matte finish without feeling oily. I love that it doesn't leave my skin looking greasy. There's nothing particularly disappointing about it. It's just a shame that it was suddenly discontinued.

For oily skin, this emulsion is great year-round, but especially in summer - there's nothing quite like it. I'm so disappointed it's been discontinued! I've been using it for over a decade and never changed my basic skincare line. It's truly heartbreaking. When used in the right amount, it absorbs beautifully and spreads evenly on the skin. The toner is still available, so I really hope they bring back an upgraded version of this emulsion! I wouldn't recommend this for anyone except those with oily skin or those who dislike shine. It doesn't leave a greasy shine and provides good coverage. Overall, positive opinions outweigh the negative ones. It's expensive. I have sensitive skin, but applying this didn't cause any blemishes or irritation. I have extremely oily skin, but this didn't help control the excess oil at all. I had high hopes after reading the reviews, so I'm quite disappointed.
