This foundation has excellent staying power and a matte finish! It's velvety, so it's matte without darkening, comes in a generous amount, and has great longevity! Since I have dry skin, matte products like this don't suit me well. True to its name, it has a velvety feel that adheres perfectly to the skin. This foundation is more suitable for summer than winter. As I have somewhat visible pores, it tends to settle into them over time. It also causes darkening, and most importantly, it leads to deep dryness even on combination skin. As a result, the skin appearance worsens as time passes. The adherence is excellent! If you gently pat it with a compact powder occasionally, it stays put from morning till night when applied in the morning. There's nothing to complain about. As someone with a warm undertone using Pure Ivory, I'm really pleased with how it brightens my complexion. The foundation has an incredibly lightweight texture and leaves a delightfully matte finish. It applies beautifully with other makeup products. While the longevity could be slightly better, I appreciate that it doesn't darken over time. There's minimal transfer onto masks. I've found it works best when applied with a brush rather than a puff. While there is some fading, it's not bad overall. It provides basic coverage. There's noticeable fading and patchiness. By the afternoon, it has worn off significantly.

It seems to be a foundation that doesn't cause blemishes. I used one of those cushion-like applicators from Daiso to pat it on, and there was no pilling or caking. What I loved most was that it didn't transfer onto my mask. The downside is that the container is quite bulky, taking up a lot of space in my makeup pouch. Also, I noticed some darkening of the product over time. Unfortunately, it tends to settle into the creases around my nose and mouth area, which is a bit disappointing. I have combination dehydrated skin, so I've always used moisturizing foundations. But I found that as long as I have a solid skincare base, this works well! My routine includes Goodal Houttuynia Cordata pads, toner, and cream, followed by sunscreen before applying this foundation. Even though I have oily skin, I loved that it didn't make my face super greasy. I think this is the best foundation I've used so far! It absorbs smoothly, leaving your skin moisturized on the inside while feeling velvety on the outside. The complexion it creates is absolutely stunning! If you're not careful with the application, you might experience a bit of buildup or pilling around the nose area. Just be mindful when applying and you should be fine! - Minimal darkening. Not exceptionally low, but on the lower side. - Doesn't get excessively oily even after hours of wear in summer. - Doesn't run even when sweating. This is what I consider its biggest advantage. - Has decent staying power. - Questionable if it's truly a pink-based product, as it doesn't cover yellow undertones well. This is really... frustrating. The color feels quite different from what's shown in the product photos. The foundation color on the puff doesn't look much different from a warm-toned foundation. - Not recommended for cool skin tones. The foundation color clashes with eye makeup colors, making the overall look subtly off. - Contains phenoxyethanol and parabens in the ingredients. The most crucial factor for me when choosing a base product is how much it darkens my skin, and I was thrilled that this one barely darkened at all. It gives such a beautiful, flattering skin finish! Even though I don't have particularly large pores, I found the pore coverage a bit lacking. A solid skincare routine is the foundation for any great base makeup look.
