I can't find any advantages... It doesn't even have a pretty color... It's really terrible... It doesn't apply well, doesn't last long, and it's extremely matte. - yu*****Combination SkinMay 28, 2019
I appreciated its matte finish rather than a glossy one, and the color was pleasantly versatile. It started to feel a bit messy after a while. As the usage period extended, it seemed like the layers separated when dispensing the product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinRecommendedFeb 25, 2019
It sets well without smudging and has excellent color payoff. I bought multiple shades solely based on the pigmentation. It's drying and messy when removing. Not a lip product you can wear while eating anything. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 20, 2019
Everyone's talking about different shades, but since this product is trending, I'll share my thoughts here too. I have the shade 'Capricious' and it's a vibrant red that looks absolutely stunning on warm skin tones. The finish is matte, and the color is a gorgeous, intense red. The applicator tip isn't great - I wish they'd change it. Also, the formula separates, with the oil layer becoming visible. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 5, 2018
Application: It applies smoothly with a nice adherence, giving a matte lip finish. However, be careful when rubbing your lips together, as it might not apply evenly on the inner parts. Longevity: The staying power is quite good. It doesn't transfer when kissing or drinking beverages. Price: At 17,000 won, it felt a bit expensive for me as a student. However, I believe it's worth the price for its quality. Pro tip: Applying it slightly over your lip line creates a beautiful look. If you're not comfortable with overlining, try applying it normally but with a subtle gradient effect. Be careful when dispensing the product - press gently as a lot can come out at once. The applicator area can get messy due to product residue, which is hard to clean. Just use it comfortably without worrying too much about keeping it pristine. For those who bought lighter shades, try using this as a base and topping it with a darker color (MAC's Chili looks amazing). It creates a stunning effect! Enjoy applying it and looking fabulous! - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinSep 9, 2017
The color payoff is great and it's easy to use! It feels slightly lacking when applying, perhaps because it's matte. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAug 11, 2017
I used the shade #rolling. First off, the color is absolutely gorgeous. It's a slightly pinkish red that's truly beautiful. When applied to the lips, it has a velvety texture. Because of this, it also has great staying power. To be honest, apart from the color and longevity, everything else about this product is a drawback. While it has a velvety feel and good staying power, it's extremely drying... I'm not exaggerating when I say you can't apply this without a lip balm! I've never encountered such a drying cosmetic product in my life... Because it's so dry, it really accentuates dead skin cells on your lips. As an extension of this, the product itself dries out. When I first got it, the texture was manageable, if not moisturizing. But after about two weeks, it became incredibly stiff. It's a tube product, but the contents have become so thick that it's difficult to apply... It feels like you're trying to apply day-old, uncapped eyeliner to your lips... but from a tube! Lastly, the staining. I usually prefer to do a gradient on the inner part of my lips unless I'm doing a full face of makeup, as I find it less overwhelming. But this product is so stiff it's hard to apply, and it stains super quickly. Before I can even create a gradient, it's already stained, creating layers on my lips... On days I use this, I either have to commit to a full lip or end up with an unintended full lip anyway... I'm giving it an extra star solely for the beautiful color. If it weren't for that, this would be a one-star product. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinJul 20, 2017
First off, the staying power is absolutely top-notch! Apply it in the morning and it clings to your lips, maintaining its color all day. I'm constantly sipping drinks through a straw, yet it still holds up impressively. The color payoff is honest and vibrant. No staining, and it comes off cleanly when you want to remove it. They have several shades available, all with excellent pigmentation. If you're a fan of matte lips, I highly recommend this! While the angled tip looks like it would make direct application easy, be warned - applying it straight from the tube can lead to disaster! It tends to clump if used that way. Personally, I recommend dabbing a small amount on the back of your hand, then gently patting it onto your lips with your index finger. Layer it a few times for a smooth, thin application with natural-looking color. Keep in mind, it's extremely matte. Right after application, your lips might feel like they're sticking together when you speak. Also, layering other products on top can be challenging unless they're also matte. I'd only recommend this for those with minimal lip flakiness who love a matte finish! Lip balm is a must before application. Gently wipe off excess balm with a cotton swab, then pat this on for a gorgeous look. - su******Combination SkinJul 18, 2017
I use the lip liquid rouge 'Luz' and first of all, the color is absolutely gorgeous. I've had so many people ask me what I'm wearing on my lips when I use this! The amount you get is more than expected too. I bought it duty-free, but even if I hadn't, the price isn't too burdensome, so I'm satisfied with that aspect as well. As someone who's practically a lip balm addict due to extremely dry lips, I have to say you need to apply a lip balm that doesn't cause flaking but also isn't too glossy before using this. The formula tends to emphasize dead skin cells on the lips. It might make your lips look a bit messy. For best results, apply a generous amount of lip balm the night before. The next day, during your skincare routine, put on some lip balm again. Before applying this product, gently wipe off the excess balm. This method works great. - de********Dry SkinJun 28, 2017
For reference, this is a different shade of the same product. I'll update the review when the 'Rolling' shade becomes available (though product registration is so difficult, I'd rather wait for someone else to do it - it's like trying to get concert tickets!). Anyway, the color is as shown in the photo (it appears a bit darker under the mix of natural and fluorescent light). 'Rolling' is a slightly orange-tinted red, like gochujang. Surprisingly pretty when applied to the lips. It looks beautiful even with full coverage, but be warned - it can emphasize lip texture. If you have a warm complexion, this could be your perfect MLBB shade. For cool tones, it might not be the best match. While it doesn't excessively highlight lip texture, it's not the most comfortable (you can feel it tightening on your lips). A lip balm mask is a must before application (apply lip balm, do the rest of your makeup, then blot before using this). It can be quite challenging to wear in dry seasons. Well, as with most matte lipsticks, it has good staying power but can be drying. It's more of a medium matte finish. The color payoff will vary depending on your complexion, so that's subjective. Compared to the cult-favorite velvety tints from Peripera, this product tends to clump and gather slightly. The stain it leaves behind is more red than vibrant pink. The manufacturer is Cosmax. The case is pretty and compact, perfect for your makeup bag. Pro tip: Use a lip mask, then apply a small amount with a cotton swab. The glossy finish seen in the top of the photo is right after application. The shine fades quickly, becoming matte like the bottom part. Would I repurchase? Maybe in a different shade, but I'm not particularly drawn to buying this one again.
