  This water-based formula has virtually no viscosity, so it absorbs incredibly well! Just apply it with a cotton pad and it practically gets absorbed right away. It's a refreshing type, so you can apply it without feeling heavy. I have somewhat sensitive skin, and products that don't suit me usually cause breakouts right away, but I didn't have any issues with this one, so it seems like a really gentle product. It's gentle and lightweight, so I think it could work well as a toner replacement!
