I've been using this every other day, and the day after I use it, my skin texture is noticeably smoother and more refined. Since they didn't add any fragrance, the scent is a bit odd, but it's not unpleasant. - Hwahae UserDehydrated SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedFeb 26, 2024
It feels like it's really sloughing off those dead skin cells! The generous amount and buy-one-get-one deal make it less of a splurge. The scent is a bit... odd? It has a strange smell. While it's not so bad that you can't use it, those with sensitive noses might find it off-putting. Oh, and if you have super sensitive skin, it might cause some redness. Probably not suitable for daily use! Since it's recommended for nighttime use, I've been applying it in the evenings! - ki*********Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedNov 23, 2023
When light hit my chin, I could see those tiny bumps... It was frustrating to feel them when I touched my skin. But after applying this and sleeping once, I was pleased to find my skin became much smoother. It stings when it touches wounds from popped blemishes. I've heard that during the rebuilding process, existing sebum comes to the surface, which can cause initial breakouts. I was using it daily, but it seemed to irritate my skin, so now I'm using it once every 2-3 days. - ch*******Dry SkinAcne SkinNov 18, 2023
This chemical exfoliant is less irritating than physical scrubs, making it convenient for evening skincare routines. I purchased it at a great value of 16800 won for a 1+1 deal. Rebuilding phase (10/27-11/16) Used it 1-2 times a week but couldn't notice any significant benefits. Tested on right temple area on 11/12-13, then on forehead 11/14-16. Noticed red blemishes and small bumps appearing on forehead. Some reviews mentioned initial breakouts due to purging, but in my experience, it felt more like irritation. Given my sensitive skin, it might be best to avoid exfoliation for a while. It seems my skin doesn't respond well to AHA (glycolic acid), BHA (salicylic acid), or PHA. - da********Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinRecommendedNov 3, 2023
I'm a woman who has struggled with skin issues for about 15 years. It started with millet rash in elementary school, progressed to 10-15 inflammatory acne spots in middle school through college, contact dermatitis and milia due to mask-wearing in my mid-20s, and then combination dehydrated skin with enlarged pores in my late 20s. I've finally achieved smooth, blemish-free skin by discovering three key practices: regular exfoliation, using a cleanser that rinses off completely, and finding the right moisturizer and sunscreen for my skin type. For exfoliation, I prefer chemical methods as physical scrubs with granules can be too harsh on my delicate skin. Both AHA and BHA work well for me. I'm fond of brightening ingredients to address the slight discoloration left by old blemishes and uneven skin tone. Niacinamide is my go-to as it's less irritating than vitamin derivatives. Cica, bifida, and propolis all agree with my skin, with cica being particularly effective for soothing. This product contains ingredients that work well for me, so I didn't hesitate to purchase it. I use one pump about twice a week before bed, right after cleansing. As winter approaches and hydration becomes crucial (to prevent wrinkles!), I appreciate that this product also contains moisturizing ingredients, keeping my skin from feeling too dry. -> Main effects: Brightening / Exfoliation The scent is really... like a drop of vinegar mixed in. It's slightly sour.. After cleansing, I gently pat my face dry with a towel, then apply one pump of this serum to each cheek and let it absorb. Next, I layer on a functional ampoule, followed by a moisturizer that suits my skin. The next morning, I wake up to skin that's smooth, glowing, radiant, and bright. My skin looks so good lately that I've been recommending this product to everyone around me! - lo*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 5, 2023
It helps smooth out dead skin cells, and when applied before bed, you'll notice a difference when washing your face the next morning While it's not always the case, depending on your skin condition, you might occasionally experience a tingling sensation - du*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessRecommendedSep 27, 2023
I was looking for a cost-effective AHA gel alternative to the pricier options out there, and I'm glad I gave this one a try. The smaller size is perfect for controlled use, which aligns well with the product's intended application. While some might not enjoy the slight tingling sensation, I found it reassuring as it seemed to indicate effective dead skin cell removal. It's much gentler compared to the intense peeling you'd get after extraction at a spa, which can be quite uncomfortable. I felt the effects were a bit milder than expected. With other AHA gels I've used, I noticed a significant improvement in skin texture and reduction in small bumps the next day, which wasn't as apparent with this one. That being said, I'm still considering repurchasing it. - a2*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJan 25, 2023
23.1 Rating: Good - Despite containing exfoliating ingredients, it's surprisingly gentle. Just a slight tingle? - Buy one, get one free deal - Experienced a slight tingling sensation, but the area around my mouth became dry - Developed folliculitis. Seems like it doesn't suit my skin - ex*********Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsJan 3, 2023
The price is affordable... I'd love to find other positives too... Chemical exfoliants usually work well for my skin, so I bought this. But why didn't this product have any effect at all? Just why.... It stings when applied to areas with wounds - as******Dry SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedDec 6, 2022
Empty bottle review~ I've never used it on my face, but when I applied it to my body, there was no reaction even with frequent use. I used it on the discolored areas of my underarms, and after finishing the whole bottle, I feel like they've become a bit lighter. The container is easy to use and compact, which is great. I consistently applied this product to one underarm and vitamin C to the other, and the vitamin C side was noticeably brighter. It's a bit disappointing that while it does have some brightening effects, they're not dramatic for skin tone evening. However, I still have another bottle left, so I'm going to switch sides and experiment again!
