It's great for gently managing dead skin cells. I also appreciate that it's an enzyme cleanser, which means it has a longer shelf life and can be used more hygienically. For those with super sensitive skin, directly rubbing it on your face might not be the best idea... I tried that at first and my face ended up with a burning sensation. Instead, work up a lather in your hands first before applying it to your face. To avoid irritation, especially if you have sensitive skin, always patch test new products and introduce them gradually into your skincare routine. Remember, gentler application methods can often yield better results and minimize the risk of adverse reactions. - ho********Dry SkinInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedJun 3, 2025
I bought this product because the weather's been getting hotter, causing some dead skin cells to appear. Using it twice a week gives you a radiant complexion with no visible flakes! Just make sure to cleanse with an oil cleanser beforehand. Since the product has granules, it can irritate your face if you don't work up enough lather. Be sure to create plenty of foam before applying. I'm quite impatient, so waiting for all the granules to dissolve while lathering can be a bit tedious. So I mix it with my cleansing oil instead. The ratio I use is 1 part cleansing oil to 2 parts enzyme cleanser. You should definitely try it this way. I highly recommend it! - qk******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedMay 12, 2025
Being a powder cleanser, it's great for travel. Perhaps due to the protease enzyme extract from green tea, my skin feels incredibly smooth after washing. It's perfect for exfoliating when your face feels congested, helping to remove dead skin cells. Nothing particularly negative to mention. I was already aware that powder formulas are sensitive to moisture when I bought it, so that's not an issue. I didn't encounter any problems while using it. - in*********Dry SkinRecommendedMar 31, 2025
It's gentle on the skin, which I appreciate as it causes less irritation. It's also quite effective at removing dead skin cells. The exfoliating particles give a slight tingling sensation, but it's not too intense. - su*********Oily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsRecommendedMar 5, 2025
My skin is oily and sensitive, prone to blemishes, but since using this enzyme cleanser (+ Isol toner), my skin has calmed down significantly. I've been sticking to this routine ever since. I value that fresh, clean feeling after cleansing, and this product delivers that while being gentle on my skin. It's great! (Occasionally, when I try other products I've received as gifts, my skin immediately acts up again.) While it's mostly great, if I had to nitpick, the powder can spill out if you're not careful when shaking it. Also, it's sensitive to moisture, so storage can be a bit tricky. That said, compared to containers of other powder cleansers, this one is actually more convenient. - hk****Combination SkinSensitive SkinAtopic SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsSebum/BlackheadsInner DrynessWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresRednessDead Skin CellsRecommendedFeb 6, 2025
Review of Isol Green Enzyme Cleanser (Combination Skin + Atopic Skin) I'm sharing a quick review after using the Isol Green Enzyme Cleanser. As someone with combination skin and atopy, I'm very careful when choosing cleansers. I avoid harsh products and look for ones with good ingredients. This cleanser fits the bill perfectly. 1. Texture and Feel This powder-type cleanser transforms into a gentle foam when mixed with water, making it easy on the skin. After cleansing, my skin doesn't feel tight, but rather moisturized - which is great! My sensitive skin tends to dry out easily, but this cleanser doesn't cause that issue. 2. Cleansing Effectiveness It cleanses well, effectively removing excess oil and impurities without over-drying the skin. Post-cleanse, my skin feels fresh and balanced. It's particularly effective on my oily T-zone, leaving it thoroughly cleansed! 3. Gentleness on Sensitive Skin Despite my atopic, sensitive skin, this cleanser caused no irritation. It's free from alcohol and artificial fragrances, so I experienced no itching or redness during use. 4. Skin Improvements With continued use, I noticed my oily areas became more balanced. My atopic skin often gets dry or irritated, but this cleanser allows me to cleanse effectively without any adverse reactions. Overall Verdict This product is an excellent choice for combination and atopic skin types. It offers good cleansing power while being gentle, making it safe for even the most sensitive skin. Being a powder type, the area around the lid can get a bit messy during use. - jh******Combination SkinAcne SkinBrightening/Dark SpotsWrinkles/ElasticityEnlarged PoresDead Skin CellsRecommendedNov 21, 2024
It's gentle and easy to use without irritation. At first glance, I thought I'd use it up quickly due to the small amount, but it's actually quite generous and has lasted a long time. It lathers well even with a small amount. The opening can get a bit dirty with use, and you need to be careful not to let water get in when using it in the shower. - ks*****Dry SkinSensitive SkinInner DrynessRecommendedOct 18, 2024
It definitely had a positive effect on skin texture and small blemishes. You only need about an almond-sized amount in your hand. It's a slightly greenish powder. I've been using it 1-2 times a week, and I love that it removes dead skin cells without being harsh on the skin. To use, dissolve the powder in warm water, leave it on your face for about 2 minutes, then gently roll and rinse off with warm water. I always use warm water with enzyme cleansers as it's said to activate the enzymes. It creates fine, delicate bubbles that feel like they're really cleansing deep into the pores. It's not really a downside, but if you don't dissolve the powder well in your hands, it can be a bit irritating when applied to the face. So I recommend thoroughly dissolving it in your hands before applying to your face. - ks*******Combination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 16, 2024
I love how this product makes my skin feel incredibly soft I've been using it well, and honestly, I can't think of any downsides - un*******Oily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedOct 4, 2024
This product is excellent for removing dead skin cells. My skin feels incredibly soft right after using it, which puts me in a great mood. Unfortunately, at some point I developed contact dermatitis whenever I used enzyme cleansers. Now it's become difficult for me to use enzyme-based cleansers. It's such a shame...
