  Pros

  It absorbs quickly and has a gentle, non-irritating scent. The texture is just right for a hydrating moisturizer.

  Cons

  It tends to dry out the skin when applied, and can cause blemishes on sensitive skin. (When I applied a generous amount, I ended up with redness all over my face.) If only the ingredients were better...

  Tip

  Since it tends to be drying, I use it with a richer product in winter for better moisture balance.

  Pros

  The fragrance and absorption were so nice that I went through several bottles in my early 20s! Maybe because I was young, my skin's regeneration was great. When my skin got slightly red, I'd slather this on before bed, and it felt like the redness disappeared overnight! This was the first skincare product where I actually saw results. I especially loved keeping it in the fridge and applying it cold for a soothing and cooling effect. Looking at the ingredients list now, I see it contains salicylic acid, which probably helped those slight red spots calm down so quickly!

  Cons

  When I started getting stress-related acne in multiple areas, not just occasional blemishes, this product didn't work for me anymore, unfortunately. Also, it's not exactly budget-friendly, and for the same price, I could have used a product with a larger volume and potentially better results. The ingredients don't look particularly impressive either, to be honest.

  Tip

  Try keeping it in the fridge for an extra soothing and cooling effect - you'll really feel the benefits of the gel cream! Just be careful, as some people's skin doesn't react well to salicylic acid, so make sure to check before you buy.

  Pros

  I bought this along with the green jar of Darphin Energy Night Care or something like that. The first couple of times I used it, I thought it was just okay and overpriced, so I stopped using it. But when I applied it again after a long time before putting on makeup... The hydration is top-notch. The moisturizing effect is incredible. You can feel the energy boosting on your skin, and it's like your skin is drinking up the moisture. The next day, my skin was so smooth and hydrated that even heavy-duty foundations like Double Wear applied beautifully. I ended up repurchasing it!

  Cons

  I didn't notice much the first couple of times I used it... but later I realized its true value! The downside is the price.... And even though I'm prone to blemishes, I didn't get any breakouts!

  Tip

  After removing all your makeup and wiping with toner, apply a generous amount like a sleeping pack before bed... You'll be amazed the next morning...!!!
