The scent is absolutely lovely!! It's exactly like roses. The moisturizer isn't too rich, making it perfect for morning use. I'm on my third tube and honestly can't find any faults! Before my skin became sensitive, it gave me a nice glow and just the right amount of richness After my skin became super sensitive due to dermatological treatments, applying this caused redness and a burning sensation, so I had to wash it off immediately. It seems to provide long-lasting hydration. Even though I have sensitive skin, I haven't experienced any blemishes and my skin feels moisturized. It's so hydrating and moisturizing! Lancôme as a brand is really good. The ingredients are a bit disappointing. I wish they could have used safer ingredients.

The texture is just right for a hydrating moisturizer. It tends to dry out the skin when applied, and can cause blemishes on sensitive skin. (When I applied a generous amount, I ended up with redness all over my face.) If only the ingredients were better... This product is so gentle, it worked really well for my skin. I love that it's moisturizing without being oily, so it doesn't cause any blemishes. Oily products don't usually agree with my skin, so this is perfect. While I've changed other parts of my skincare routine, this hydrating gel cream has remained a constant. When my skin was very dry and I had atopic dermatitis, this cream stung a little when applied. I think it might be due to the alcohol content. Also, its hydration power isn't that great. If you have dry skin, you'll likely feel the need to apply something more. It's quite expensive and not readily available in the country. I have dry skin that's not particularly sensitive. Between the Hydragen Neocalm Cream and Gel Cream, the Gel Cream is perfect for summer - it's refreshing and hydrating! There's a scent, but it doesn't bother me much. For those with dry skin, some gel creams can make your skin feel tight as they dry out over time, but this product maintains its moisture nicely! It keeps my skin feeling hydrated, which I love. While the fragrance isn't too bothersome, it might be a hit or miss for some. Also, as expected from a brand cosmetic, it's on the pricier side...

Because of this, I've tried all sorts of famous brands known for their hydrating moisturizers. This cream has a pudding-like texture that's soft, absorbs well, and feels very moisturizing. I'm currently using just one essence followed by this cream, and it provides all the hydration I need without feeling lacking at all. I love it! It absorbs well, which makes applying it a real pleasure. I'm very likely to repurchase it. It's great for use all year round, regardless of the season. I'm on my second jar now, and I'm completely satisfied with no blemishes. The disappointing aspect, as everyone knows, is that looking at the ingredient analysis can be a bit shocking... If they could switch to slightly more skin-friendly ingredients, consumers would be even more satisfied. I usually only use two products - an essence and a cream. Before applying this cream, I recommend using a slightly thicker essence rather than a very watery one. With just these two products, you can use it this season without any deep dryness. Using fewer products leads to better absorption and a lighter feel, which I prefer over layering too many products.
