It was my go-to for brightening. Despite the cautionary ingredients, it worked well for me without causing any blemishes! I mainly applied it under my eyes for dark circles, and I felt it really evened out my complexion. The fact that it's been around for over 10 years without being discontinued shows that there must be quite a few people like me who've made it a staple in their routine. I've deducted one star because of the cautionary ingredients, but I'd still repurchase it! The price is absolutely wicked! And it's disappointing that it contains ingredients to be cautious about. I was using it just fine, but now knowing about these ingredients makes me feel uneasy. Wish I hadn't looked! For dark circles or discoloration around the mouth, if you apply it consistently, it seems to even out the skin tone nicely!
