It's the price. If the price burden wasn't there, I would keep using it because the acne goes away only when I use this.

I had adult acne from small acne for 10 years, going back and forth between good and bad. I went to dermatologists a lot and tried all kinds of cosmetics, but this is the best. It moisturizes deeply without stickiness, and applies smoothly and firmly. Of course, the acne disappears.

I'm deducting one star due to the price. There are now many excellent affordable domestic alternatives to this product.

I had struggled with adult acne until my early 30s, so I've tried many so-called decent serums and ampoules during that time as I couldn't use rich creams. This product is a vitamin C serum, and it's said to work better when used together with the Hypotenuse Serum, so I purchased the set and used them together.

If the price is not a burden, this is a good product for those suffering from atopy or trouble skin to use consistently. 

It contains hyaluronic acid derivatives that are great for moisture supply. It's a product solely focused on hydration. The clear, water-like formula is very gentle, as it's colorless, fragrance-free, and free of unnecessary additives. It seems to have very little preservatives, so it's recommended to store it in the refrigerator.

This is the progenitor of moisture ampoules, having been released nearly 20 years ago, and products like the Ohui and Laneige moisture ampoules have all benchmarked this one. It's less sticky than the Ohui and Laneige ones.

There were no breakouts for me either.

The price is expensive :( I feel like I can only use the 30ml for about 2 months.

🤫Pro Tip - Use it with the High Potency Serum
Typically, using a vitamin serum or ampoule from other brands together with an essence from a different brand can still be effective. But in the case of Cellex-C, I strongly recommend using the Hydra 5B Complex together with the High Potency Serum. It might seem obvious, but these two products work so well together that they're almost like a single product. The High Potency Serum gets absorbed into the skin instantly, and you need to immediately follow it up with the Hydra 5B to create a protective moisture barrier. And then applying either the C-Silk Cream or Cellin E Cream on top is just perfect. (I personally find the C-Silk Cream to be a slightly better match for me.)

😕Downside 1 - Limited Availability
In the past, this product was widely available at department stores, duty-free shops, and online, and it was even featured on home shopping channels. But recently, that doesn't seem to be the case. It's a shame that the options for purchasing this product with a better composition and price have become more limited.

The volume is small. Of course, this is a highly functional product concentrated with hyaluronic acid, so it's different from regular cosmetic brands. But for someone used to standard skincare, the small size might feel a bit disappointing at first! -> This was a past comment.
However, as of 2019, there are now many more functional ampoule/essence products available on the market, and smaller volume options have also become more common. So I don't particularly feel that this product is too small. In fact, even with the same small volume, the Cellex-C product feels much more worthwhile compared to other brands, given its clear effectiveness.

I've already lost count of how many 30ml and 15ml bottles I've gone through. And I've also highly recommended it to many of my friends who are now using it too. As a Cellex-C enthusiast, here's my real review!

🙂Positive Point 1 - Creamy Texture
The texture is quite different from typical hyaluronic acid ampoules. It's not watery or runny like water. To describe it, it's more like a gel-like texture, almost like a plant-based gel.
When I use the High Potency Serum, I often feel my skin getting dry quickly, but when I apply this product, it instantly quenches my skin's thirst and makes it feel plump. It also leaves a thin, moisturizing layer on the skin surface. You can feel the creamy, bouncy texture, but it's not heavy, so you can layer other creams on top and maintain the hydration for a long time.

🙂Positive Point 2 - Honest Ingredients
It doesn't contain unnecessary, excessive ingredients, which minimizes the risk of skin irritation. It only has sodium hyaluronate for hydration, purified water, and a couple other ingredients. This truly lives up to the name of a hyaluronic acid ampoule and is a representative functional product that showcases why Cellex-C is known as a leader in functional skincare. Because of this, even when I temporarily stray and try other brands, as soon as I experience any issues, I immediately come back to Cellex-C.
