There's a reason it's called the affordable Double Wear. Doesn't cause blemishes - I have acne-prone and sensitive skin, but it doesn't break me out. However, as time passes, oil builds up and can lead to blemishes. To prevent this, use blotting papers and finish with a setting powder.
ConsThe shade Opal, which is supposed to be the lightest, is still too dark for me. This might be why I thought it covered acne scars better. I have very oily skin, and while it claims to be matte, it's not really matte? It feels like applying oil, and though the finish is matte, something feels off. It applies thickly and emphasizes texture terribly. Pore coverage is non-existent. It washes off with just water and simply runs down your face. The staying power is awful. Maybe because I'm super oily, but it doesn't last long. When it breaks down, it's not pretty. The only reason I didn't toss it was its high coverage and that it didn't initially cause breakouts. But without blotting papers, the excess oil led to blemishes.
TipRemember to shake well before use.

I used strong products like Missha and my skin got irritated, so I went to a dermatologist like it was school. Even though my skin was terrible, I couldn't just not wear makeup, right? So I tried Vichy products, and the coverage is decent even with a small amount, and I like that it's not too white. I've been using it for 2 years, I think I've bought 3-4 bottles already. This time, the design has changed to black, and it seems like they've even removed parabens. But you should still double-check the ingredients when you purchase. And personally, I buy through a personal shopper.
ConsThe downside is that after about 5 hours, there's a bit of creasing, but that's probably an issue with my skin. I just have to touch it up in the middle. And it's hard to completely cover my pore on my nose. Some additional steps are needed. You also have to use a separate concealer.
TipVichy has a stick concealer. If you just apply a tiny bit of foundation and then use the concealer on the areas you want to cover more, you can get a natural-looking coverage without it looking too heavy. It's the same shade, but a bit denser, so it covers well. It covers dark spots well too, though really stubborn ones might be tough.

However, if I apply a lot, it gets thick. Even with just a little, the coverage is good.
ConsNot 12 hours, but around 8 hours doesn't need any touch-ups.

The coverage is excellent, and most importantly, even though I have very sensitive skin, I didn't experience any breakouts, and the ingredients are great, so I can use it with confidence!
ConsIt doesn't seem to last more than 12 hours. It lasts around 7 hours, and the way it breaks down isn't that pretty. Also, the color is too bright, so I've been mixing it with a nude shade 25 as well.
TipIf you usually use shades 21 or 23, I'd recommend buying a nude shade and mixing it in as well!
