  Pros

  I bought this because it's said to be the gentlest for skin blemishes. My skin concerns were so significant that I thought the mildest option would be best.

  Cons

  Even for a toner that's meant to cleanse, it's incredibly drying. I've used it so much that I can't tell if I've applied it or not, or why I'm even using it. It seems that 'gentle' in this case is just a euphemism for 'lacking in effectiveness'.

  Pros

  I loved that I could apply it without worry, even with my super sensitive skin.

  Cons

  After application, I felt some deep dryness, so I had to layer on a lot of emulsion or hydrating cream.

  Tip

  Soaking a cotton pad and placing it on the skin also helped alleviate some of the dryness.

  Pros

  After using only moisturizers, I decided to purchase this based on its ingredients. I alternate between Laneige Moisture, Laneige Sensitive, and IOPE Soothing Clinic Toner depending on my skin condition, but this one is the gentlest and I love it.

  Cons

  Since it's a water-based toner, it can feel slightly drying, but it's not severe. I deliberately chose one without alcohol, but I'm a bit concerned about the phenoxyethanol listed at the end of the ingredients.

  Tip

  On days when I have a lot of blemishes or severe redness, I use it as a mask by soaking a cotton pad with the toner and leaving it on my skin for a while. It feels so soothing!

  It's great for sensitive skin, but I only buy it when I have blemishes since it's a bit drying. It feels gentle on the skin.
