I can't speak to its whitening effects, but like Laneige or IOPE, I find it gentle and pleasant to use. However, since it's winter, using this alone can make my skin feel tight later on. Fortunately, they give out lots of Water Bank samples, so I use those together. (It seems Amore Pacific often bundles their water line products when selling their cosmetics.) This seems to be a decent basic skincare product for its price point. As someone with oily skin, I find it's not too greasy when applied. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and silky smooth! However, I'm not really sure about its brightening effects...
