I can't speak to its whitening effects, but like Laneige or IOPE, I find it gentle and pleasant to use. However, since it's winter, using this alone can make my skin feel tight later on. Fortunately, they give out lots of Water Bank samples, so I use those together. (It seems Amore Pacific often bundles their water line products when selling their cosmetics.) This seems to be a decent basic skincare product for its price point. As someone with oily skin, I find it's not too greasy when applied. It leaves my skin feeling hydrated and silky smooth! I appreciated the substantial weight of the bottle. The application feel wasn't bad either. As someone with combination skin, this left me feeling quite oily. I've been using this line of products while looking for a brightening solution. It's moisturizing and feels fresh without any stickiness. I loved how gentle it was on my skin. The scent was pleasant too. I used it for a long time since I wanted something with brightening effects. It feels gentle and mild. I notice my complexion looks a bit brighter. It works well when used with other products from the same line. The hydration power is somewhat lacking, though it's not terribly so. It's moisturizing and gentle on the skin. I have sensitive and extremely dry skin, so I usually go for products that don't cause blemishes and provide hydration. This one fits the bill perfectly! It feels less moisturizing than a toner? The hydration is okay with this alone, but it's not great for deep moisturization. If I finish my routine with just this and go to sleep, I wake up with dry skin, so a moisturizing cream is a must. However, it's great to use before applying makeup as it doesn't cause pilling. My skin feels moisturized and soft. It's absolutely perfect for my complexion. I make sure to buy it every time there's a sale. None. If anything, I wish it were a bit cheaper, haha!
