I remember using this when I was in elementary school and getting that honey-like skin. After trying various products over the years, I'm finally settling back on this one. I had switched to other products when I heard about potentially harmful ingredients, but this one truly reigns supreme! The only downside might be the heavy jar? Though I'm not sure how it is now with the recent packaging redesign. Even before layered skincare became trendy, I used to apply this in two separate layers for better absorption. As someone with oily, acne-prone skin, this moisturizer was perfect for me. I always buy my moisturizers from Nature Republic. However, it doesn't absorb well and feels like it sits on top of the skin. It worked well for my combination skin, and above all, I loved how smoothly it absorbed! I can't think of any particular downsides. It's great in many aspects. I tried this product since it was known as a budget-friendly version for a while. The texture might feel refreshing for those with oily skin, but for me it was a bit underwhelming. It feels moisturizing when applied and I didn't experience any unusual reactions, making it great for light daily use. Using this product alone felt somewhat insufficient, so I layered another product underneath it.

I received this as a gift from a friend. The way it absorbs isn't bad at all. Usually, when I apply other moisturizers, my skin gets oily, but not with this one. It's absolutely fantastic! There's really nothing to complain about. It suits me perfectly. Honestly, there are no downsides. When I apply this and then layer an emulsion on top, it seems to strike the perfect balance of oil and moisture.

It absorbs smoothly without any oiliness, which is great. It's really gentle on the skin. In winter, one application might not be enough. You may need to apply it multiple times.
