For the first week of use, my skin felt incredibly soft and smooth. My complexion seemed to brighten, and even my small bumps appeared to be diminishing. However, after about a month, instead of deep dryness, my skin became excessively oily. I had to use blotting papers to manage the greasiness. As a result, small bumps started to appear, with one or two popping up on my forehead and chin. Because of this, I've stopped using it. It's on sale at Lalavla, but you'd be better off waiting for public holidays or events like Halloween when the website offers buy-one-get-one-free deals. That's the best time to make a purchase. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinRecommendedAug 19, 2018
I love that it's not sticky and makes managing blemishes so easy. It takes a while to absorb. Other than that, I can't think of anything particularly bad. Nothing to add. - sh********Oily SkinSensitive SkinRecommendedApr 29, 2018
As someone with sensitive and oily skin, I've never experienced any blemishes when using this product. It's a reliable choice that works well for everyday use. The downside is that you can't see how much product is left, and the price is a bit steep. However, I don't have any complaints about the product itself. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinApr 15, 2018
Absorbs incredibly fast with a non-sticky finish. The pump dispenser is quite convenient. Can't really tell the effects of EGF... Should've used it earlier or tried SIDMOOL instead. The price is just more evil~~ and the ingredients aren't that impressive either. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinFeb 18, 2018
My redness and tiny bumps have significantly calmed down. The product absorbs well into the skin quickly. It's impossible to tell how much product is left in the container. My skin feels dry after use. - y.******Combination SkinAcne SkinJan 23, 2018
If your skin isn't extremely dry, you can skip separate toners and emulsions and just use this! It's also fragrance-free, making it great for light application. The toner-like texture is perfect for those who don't like sticky products clinging to their skin. The amount you get is too small for the price... Even though it's often on 50% sale, the quantity is still very limited. For me, it doesn't necessarily prevent or heal blemishes, but rather helps reduce their occurrence and maintains my skin condition without making it worse. Nevertheless, I've been using this for 2 years now and I've lost count of how many bottles I've gone through! If you want just a toner but need hydration, you could keep using this alone. However, the Soon Jung Night Cream didn't work for me. It's worth noting that the Night Cream is more hydrating and slightly thinner. I use the Soon Jung Day Cream and only apply a bit of essence when my skin feels really dry. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinJan 16, 2018
It's excellent for deep dryness. I always use this when my skin is acting up. The way it absorbs is great too. It lacks sufficient hydration. I always find my skin feels tight unless I apply another rich cream on top. - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinNov 2, 2017
Light texture with good absorption. Worth trying at least once if you have oily skin. The volume is disappointing compared to the price. The opaque container makes it impossible to see how much product is left. It's supposed to be 50ml, but it feels like less. Accidentally dropped it on my vanity, and it broke. Finally got to see the inside of the mysterious container... It seems like there's less than half the product inside the long tube, which feels like a visual trick. After that, I never bought Laneige again. It's not cheap, and this feels like too much. Considering the price and performance, the volume feels deceptive. It's worth trying, but I'd think twice about repurchasing. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinAcne SkinSep 5, 2017
I bought this during a 2-for-1 event and gave it a try. I've been stressed about my acne and have tried quite a few skincare products in my price range that might work for me. This one doesn't feel sticky when applied and leaves my skin feeling fresh. I purchased this hoping to calm down my blemishes, but I didn't see any remarkable results. - Hwahae UserOily SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinAug 5, 2017
As someone with dehydrated oily skin that's sensitive, prone to milia on the cheeks and T-zone, and even redness, I have one of the most challenging skin types out there. I've tried dermatologists, estheticians, and even traditional medicine, but the effects were always short-lived. As a working professional, I can't go without makeup, and I wear it for long hours. I've researched countless products and tried dozens, but I truly believe there's no better skincare routine for 'dehydrated oily skin' and 'milia' than this one! Usually, sensitive oily skin requires a minimalist approach, while milia needs a balanced oil-water ratio. This routine accomplishes both simultaneously. I'm only using the Sooday/Nightday duo, and the most significant improvements I've seen are in skin texture and milia! Those tiny bumps on my cheeks that makeup couldn't hide and only made my skin look worse - they were so stressful! But after using this, my skin texture has become unbelievably smooth (without any dryness). I'm so worried about the milia returning if I switch to another product that I've stocked up on the current 1+1 deal. Honestly, I was concerned when I saw PEG in the ingredients, but those worries were completely unfounded. I highly recommend this - I've already gone through 5 bottles! The downsides are the high price for the amount you get, and the opaque packaging that doesn't let you see how much product is left and can't be opened. Also, while the Sooday/Nightday duo seems sufficient, they've created multiple lines that tempt you to buy more... (It's ironic that they've made an all-in-one product for skincare minimalism, but then offer everything from serums to creams). As I mentioned, if you have similar skin to mine, buying the entire line might be too expensive. Just getting the Sooday/Nightday duo should be enough. Remember, the cream contains shea butter, which can cause blemishes - I don't use it. Even 88,000 won for two products is quite pricey. I think you could get great results just by using the Sooday (daytime) product. Since it's a 1+1 deal, you'll get two bottles - instead of using one for day and one for night, you could use just one bottle for both and still see benefits.
