No need to layer on toner, essence, and ampoule. Just use toner followed by this lipid emulsion, and you're good to go.

Can't use it in summer though. It gives too much of a 'glass skin' effect, almost like you've had a moisture injection. If you're not careful, it can leave your skin feeling a bit greasy.

This product is truly amazing. It's a lifesaver when your skin gets dry in winter, when you have folliculitis, or when your skin barrier is damaged. It works even better than panthenol-based medications. After two weeks of visiting pharmacies and hospitals with no results, this solved my problem in just two days. I really hope Olive Young starts stocking it everywhere!

The product comes in different versions like 'Dry' and 'Very Dry', so you can keep one for when your skin is extremely dehydrated and another for when it's moderately dry. It seems to have good ingredients for the price.

It's a bit inconvenient that there's no English on the packaging, despite it being a German product.

When my skin became extremely dry due to the heater, this product resolved the deep dryness that regular products couldn't fix. Even my sister, who has super sensitive skin and can't use just anything without breaking out, is using this well.

I dab it on my cheeks before going out in the winter.

A large amount dispenses when using it. It has a milk-like scent, so my child keeps trying to eat it haha.

The moisturizing power is excellent. After applying it consistently for 2 days, my rough skin has calmed down. It's suitable for both children and adults to use. It has a balm-like texture but absorbs quickly, and my face starts to glow right away. However, when applied in moderation, it doesn't feel greasy, which is great. It works wonderfully on dry skin and is also effective for redness.

It has a lot of richness, but I didn't see any dramatic effects from the dryness.

I think those who really love rich and dry skin will enjoy this.

It's too thick and oily, so even for dry skin, it might be too much to apply all over the face on hot days.
I'd recommend oily/combination skin types to avoid it - it gets a bit shiny and greasy.
For me, it's better to use just a small amount on the dry areas, like I did.

For those with dry skin, after applying makeup, you can also dab it on the back of your hand and gently pat it in to get a hydrating injection effect.

The fragrance is not like milk, but more like milk with sugar sprinkled on it. 😢

This cream is highly recommended for extremely dry skin. I'm using a different line, and I know someone who had their face turned upside down after receiving laser treatment, but after using this cream, they said their face no longer itches and feels moisturized. It's really rich, and when you apply it, it feels more like getting a hydrating injection rather than just absorbing into the skin. For combination skin, it can be used as a substitute for a joint cream or a night mask. The large size means you can apply it all over your body as well. The texture is thick and bouncy.

You can just dab a small amount on your face like applying a base, and it can be used without any stickiness!

The spreadability was a bit disappointing, but it's not a major issue.

I have some flushing, so I try to soothe it.
And I don't do much exfoliation, so instead of exfoliating, I tend to focus on soothing.
If you mix this with a drop of oil, it works well.

Definitely don't apply this before going out.
But it does seem to help the makeup go on a bit smoother when I use it.

To be honest, I have dry skin and I didn't really see much improvement from using this. The tightness is still there. Plus, the absorption is really slow - I have to massage it in for almost 10 minutes. And even after that, you can actually see the lotion turning into oil as you rub it in. ㅋㅋㅋ If I go out after using this, my face gets shiny in the sunlight and it's embarrassing...

This seems like a good option for dry skin in the winter.
There's a noticeable glow left on the face, so it almost makes the skin look better in a way.
