I'm currently using the Blue Lizard Sensitive Sunscreen in the blue bottle, not this exact product. It's wonderfully hydrating and absorbs well. This product is quite rich, so I wouldn't particularly recommend it for oily skin. It's better suited for those with dry skin. This moisturizing sunscreen is perfect for dry climates like Canada or Australia. Since it's quite rich, mixing it with Shiseido's Urban Environment sunscreen creates an amazing combination. - mi******Combination SkinAcne SkinRecommendedJun 20, 2018
Emulsion type, generous amount, slight white cast, doesn't cause makeup to pill Leaves a white powdery residue, needs to be purchased from overseas, could benefit from a higher SPF - Hwahae UserOily SkinAcne SkinRecommendedMay 15, 2018
It creates a beautiful, natural-looking brightening effect as if your skin was originally fair. The advantage is that it gradually evens out your skin tone as you gently pat it in. It stings my eyes terribly. I often buy sunscreens only to find I can't use them due to eye irritation, and I bought this one because it was supposed to be okay. But it makes my eyes water continuously. Also, while it does brighten the skin, it tends to accentuate dead skin cells just as much. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinFeb 28, 2018
It's not sticky when applied, and while there's a slight white cast, it feels like you're just applying a regular emulsion, so it's not burdensome There's not really anything disappointing about it, and the slight white cast is unavoidable - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinOct 2, 2017
Highly recommended for those wanting a brighter complexion. It's not harsh, even for super sensitive skin. The white cast effect is intense. It also stings the eyes badly, so I end up applying only a small amount. - Hwahae UserNormal SkinAug 22, 2016
It absorbs well and has just the right amount of white cast, which I like. If you pat it in thoroughly, it seems to provide a nice level of complexion correction. If you have dry skin, it might feel a bit drying. It can cause some eye irritation. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinAug 11, 2016
I bought this sunscreen because people said it was good, not realizing it contained ethylhexyl methoxycinnamate. Now I'm crying all day again due to eye irritation. Checked Hwahae and, sure enough, there's that ethylhexyl ingredient... Back to being a sunscreen nomad I guess. It might be a bit too rich for oily skin. If it weren't for the eye irritation, it would probably be great for dry skin types. If you have dry eyes, this product will ensure you never have that problem again. It'll keep them well-lubricated, that's for sure. - Hwahae UserDry SkinSensitive SkinDec 28, 2015
I bought this because I heard the ingredients were gentle. While it does have a slight white cast, I actually like how it brightens my complexion. Since I have dry skin, I appreciate the rich texture. I use the SPF50 version that doesn't come in a tube. It can be a bit inconvenient having to turn the container upside down to get the product out once you've used a certain amount. For the SPF50 product, the lizard on the label turns blue when exposed to UV rays. Always remember to shake well before use to ensure the ingredients are properly mixed. - Hwahae UserCombination SkinSensitive SkinAcne SkinAtopic SkinJul 14, 2015
It provides excellent UV protection without causing irritation. Unlike other sunscreens that tend to trigger blemishes and make my eyes sting, this one doesn't. I also appreciate the slight white cast, which gives a nice brightening effect. It can make your face a bit greasy, so you need to be careful with the amount you apply. The packaging has a simple hole opening, and since the consistency is quite runny, it's easy to accidentally pour out too much. Those with oily skin might find it a bit sticky. Apply by gently patting it onto your skin in small amounts. - Hwahae UserDry SkinMay 21, 2015
It absorbs well into dry skin, providing deep hydration. Being an organic sunscreen, it offers reliable UV protection. While it may leave a slight white cast due to its organic nature, gently patting it in helps it blend naturally. If you have dry skin and typically find organic sunscreens work well for you without pilling, I highly recommend this product! My mom, who has oily skin, mentioned that she found it a bit sticky.
